About Brayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with discipline, focus, and heart. I’m smart on the field, communicate well, and always try to be in the right position. I play hard every down and do what’s best for the team, whether it shows up on the stat sheet or not.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a focused and passionate player who puts everything into the game. I’m competitive and want to win, but I also care about my teammates and keeping everyone motivated. I show up early, stay prepared, and always give 100%. My passion for the game drives me to work harder and lead by example on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes. Currently in DECA. Have received academic accommodations like the presidential awards. Honor roll every year since 3rd grade. Straight A student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills on and off the field. I lead by example, show up early, and am always ready to help others. As the oldest in a single-parent household, I’ve learned responsibility and how to keep things running smoothly. I’m dependable, easy to coach, and enjoy giving back by volunteering with the Mustangs youth football program.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My biggest challenge has been juggling football, school, and responsibilities at home while growing up without a father. Being the oldest in a single-parent household means I have to step up and help out a lot. It’s not always easy, but it’s taught me to stay focused, manage my time, and stay motivated even when things get tough. I’ve learned that consistency and effort can make up for a lot.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong architectural engineering program where I can also continue playing football. I’d love to play at the D1 level, but my main goal is to find a school that pushes me both academically and athletically, with coaches and teammates who value hard work, discipline, family, and teamwork.

Brayden was another one of my favorite defenders to watch, and it must be fun for the PRZ Michigan scouts to watch, too, as he currently holds a top-100 ranking in the 2028 rankings. He was a tough defender to get past, with fluid hips and great athleticism. I like him as a slot corner, as his size limits him on the boundary a bit, and his ability to match up on a range of weapons from running backs to tight ends is prevalent. He is a smart defender with great instincts.
