He utilized his length and closing speed to interrupt passing windows and showed great anticipation. He is an exceptional athlete and his performance on Saturday proved that point. He personally received an invite from me, and he is what the Exposure series was made for. He has a good frame and plays with good physicality. He made a name for himself, and he is a hybrid receiver and cornerback. He worked exclusively with the defensive backs and was exceptional. During the one-on-one reps, he showed great hip fluidity and closing speed, he displayed great coverage skills and showed great anticipation and diagnosing plays early, he jumped many routes, and made multiple interceptions on the evening. He was an absolute standout and is an FBS-level talent. He will garner D1 offers. He was someone that I got to see at the LCA event and received a personal invitation to get exposure, and he did just that. Djaylan has an athletic build and can cover bigger boundary receivers and smaller twitchy receivers. He's an exceptional mover and has great hip fluidity and cover skills. He's a twitchy player with great change of direction, he has long limbs, and displays great footwork. He was exceptional on the evening and disrupted many passing windows. He is a physical corner that can play press coverage and has the footwork and closing speed to play in zone concepts, and has the length and wingspan to be a ball hawk defensive back. His coverage skills are good, and he has the hip fluidity necessary to be left on an island.
