Djaylan is an athletic mover who has natural instincts as a defensive back. He shows good speed, has good closing speed and good hips to stick to twitchy receivers. He does a good job of making a play on the ball when it comes his way, and he is an athlete who should continue to garner D1 recruiting interest. He’s done a good job of limiting big plays and being a key part of the LCA defense.

Djaylan is a dynamic, twitchy athlete. He has excellent speed and hip fluidity. He changes direction on a dime and is effective as a wide receiver and a defensive back. He’s quick to diagnose plays, is instinctual, and tracks the ball well. He has strong hands and excellent footwork. A truly dynamic player.

Djaylan is an exciting athlete with good top end speed. He has good hip fluidity and has natural instincts. He shows good acceleration and does a good job of ball tracking. I prefer him at defensive back, but he has all the skills to play wide receiver. He should continue to garner additional offers.

Djaylan came straight from State track in Provo all the way up to Ogden and right off the bat ran the 40 in 4.57, with no real warm-up or a second attempt. He was someone that I got to see at the LCA event and received a personal invitation to get exposure, and he did just that. Djaylan has an athletic build and can cover bigger boundary receivers and smaller twitchy receivers. He’s an exceptional mover and has great hip fluidity and cover skills. He’s a twitchy player with great change of direction, he has long limbs, and displays great footwork. He was exceptional on the evening and disrupted many passing windows. He’s a true FBS talent and is still refining his craft.
