About Luis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my playing style as determined. I run very exact routes and have long arms with big hands. I use this to assert myself in the field. My blocks are effective and aggressive because of my height.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

open, strong-willed, ambitious, team player and positive

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I come originally from Germany, was team captain there and invited to national team football.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My biggest challenge was moving from Germany to Layton, Utah at the age of 15 because of the high school offer. But in retrospect, it was the best decision.

What type of college are you looking for?

I work hard every day for my dream of studying at a D1 college and playing football.

Luis has good size and frame that will allow him to continue and add weight to his frame. He has clean footwork and does well getting vertical. With his frame, he could be an interesting prospect as a modern-day move tight end if he adds weight. That move could unlock an additional pathway for him. He’s an interesting prospect that is continuing to be molded into his final form. He’s a player I’ll continue to keep tabs on and see what he continues to do as the seasons change.
