Onto the position breakdowns. The first position we need to hone in on are the wide receivers. Arguably the most talented group of the bunch, the WRs impressed from start to finish, but really excelled when they took the field against the defensive backs. the NJ Exposure Series had receivers that thrived at every level and class, making it an impressive event Saturday morning.
if you read my offensive MVP article, you know I think highly of [player_tooltip player_id='1201076' first='Amari' last='Alsbrook']. Earning my MVP honors for the wide receiver position at the NJ Exposure Series, Amari consistently stood out with his explosiveness and polish at wide receiver. He showcased elite acceleration and quickness throughout the day. Alsbrook was sharp in and out of his breaks, creating separation with ease and making defensive backs work all session long. One of the biggest highlights came on a deep post route where he blew past the defender and tracked the ball naturally downfield, further proving himself as one of the most dynamic playmakers at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2209881' first='Jayden' last='Cozze'] quickly made a name for himself at the event and finished right behind Amari on my list of top wide receivers from the weekend. Despite not being on the original roster, he stood out early and consistently throughout the day, forcing his way onto the radar as one of the top prospects in the group.

Cozze showed strong hands and excellent extension when reeling in the football, routinely making catches away from his body with confidence. His size and skill set give him versatility to line up either at tight end or split out wide, but what impressed me most was his route running. He did an excellent job changing tempo throughout routes to disengage defensive backs and create separation at the top of his breaks.

Gabe Atz was one of the smoothest and most polished receivers at the event, consistently impressing with his route running and overall movement skills. He stayed low through transitions and showed excellent body control coming in and out of his breaks, making it difficult for defensive backs to stay attached in coverage.

Atz also displayed lightning quick feet off the line of scrimmage and created separation naturally throughout the day. One of his best traits was the way he dropped his hips sharply on comeback routes, allowing him to snap out of breaks cleanly and give quarterbacks an easy target.

Chris Santiago became one of the coaches' favorite receivers as the day went on, continuing to improve throughout the event and especially during one on one reps against defensive backs. While straight line speed may not be his biggest strength, he more than made up for it with polished route running, strong hands, and excellent catch radius thanks to his long arms. Santiago consistently attacked the football away from his body and showed the physical traits that could allow him to develop into a potential tight end prospect down the line. He capped off the day with an impressive catch across the middle in traffic, finishing the event on a strong note.
