Expert Analysis
Austin Butler | Prep Redzone Scout
Christopher Santiago has great size at the wide receiver position coming out of the 2030 class in New York. He has the height and hands to really make big plays on the outside. He has earned this spot at the “RIZE” in New Jersey, he is a name I really like, and think will do really well come time of this major event which is loaded with exciting talent!

, and for a fairer evaluation I wish I got to see him more. In the limited look I got of Santiago, I thought that he moves slow in-and-out of his rounded cuts. Capping this off, he dropped the pass on the rep I happen to observe him on.

Chris Santiago became one of the coaches’ favorite receivers as the day went on, continuing to improve throughout the event and especially during one on one reps against defensive backs. While straight line speed may not be his biggest strength, he more than made up for it with polished route running, strong hands, and excellent catch radius thanks to his long arms. Santiago consistently attacked the football away from his body and showed the physical traits that could allow him to develop into a potential tight end prospect down the line. He capped off the day with an impressive catch across the middle in traffic, finishing the event on a strong note.
