[player_tooltip player_id='1285143' first='Omar' last='Areche'] 2027 ATH Yonkers

[player_tooltip player_id='1285143' first='Omar' last='Areche'] continues to impress at every event he attends. Earning the title of one of the top WRs this past weekend at the You Are Athlete event, Omar showed why he is one of the top athletes coming out of NY. An absolute burner off of the line, Omar ripped by a defender with ease, catching them off guard with his quick stutter step, and tore down the field to stretch out for the ball. I am really impressed with his ability to change tempos during his routes; it's just enough to stun the defender and gain the separation needed to make it an easier pitch and catch for the QB. He showed off his pass catching skills throughout with over the shoulder catches, demonstrating great tracking skills, and consistently catching it away from his body. There is a lot to look forward to with Omar on the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371555' first='Jayden' last='Schmalz'] 2029 QB Delbarton

Another attendee of a You Are Athlete camp, [player_tooltip player_id='1371555' first='Jayden' last='Schmalz'] competed under sunnier skies this past weekend. A 2029 QB with a ton of upside, Jayden showed why he is a quarterback to be recognized. With a rocket of an arm, Jayden can let the ball rip downfield with ease. He has a lot of power behind his throw, evident in his windup and follow through mechanics. He has a great example of this when he threw the ball on a line into his receivers outstretched hands just beyond the reach of the defender. Playing for Delbarton, I am excited to see him live in action next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1277979' first='Austin' last='Marchetti'] 2030 QB DePaul

Once again, [player_tooltip player_id='1277979' first='Austin' last='Marchetti'] received MVP honors at another camp. This time for You Are Athlete, the DePaul QB impressed with his confidence, arm strength, and continual growth as a quarterback. Every time I see Austin it seems he grew a few more inches. He has the height every coach would want in their QB, and as he adds size to his frame, he will be quite the physical presence on the field. I am continually impressed with Austin's pinpoint accuracy and the velocity he can put behind the ball. He can really sneak the ball into any window at a moments notice. I look forward to seeing Austin as he steps onto the field for DePaul next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1187352' first='Ian' last='McDuffie'] 2027 ATH Passaic Tech

An athlete coming out of Passaic Tech, [player_tooltip player_id='1187352' first='Ian' last='McDuffie'] impressed at the UA Next camp. If you're looking for a linebacker with the size and speed to take over a game, you have found him in Ian. What stands out immediately is Ian's size. He is a muscled up backer that is a force to be reckoned with once the pads are put on. However, what surprised me is how mobile and fluid Ian was in coverage. He not only could stay toe to toe with the RB while running routes, but he showed he can flip his hips around and change directions with speed to prevent any separation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691089' first='Jaxon' last='Pacheco'] 2027 DL Brick

[player_tooltip player_id='1691089' first='Jaxon' last='Pacheco'] is an absolute monster lining up in the middle of the defensive front. Showing off his skills at the You Are Athlete event this past weekend, the Brick DT put on a clinic with an arsenal of moves and raw strength that highlighted all of the ways he find his way to the quarterback. Right off of the line, Jaxon showed a quick, explosive first step, firing low off of the line to gain leverage on the lineman. He has longer arms, which allows him to not only extend the blocker away, but also get by the defender with an aggressive swim and rip. I am really impressed with what I am seeing out of [player_tooltip player_id='1691089' first='Jaxon' last='Pacheco'].
