We're back to do just that after he finished with 41.5 tackles, 20 of which were of the solo variety. He delivered seven tackles for loss and four sacks as well. Rummel also flashed potential as a H-Back/TE/FB, as we can witness during the 10th-grade highlights of his blocking. While playing an important role in that regard, his impact was greater at linebacker. That shows up during his overall seasonal highlight tape. A versatile defender, Rummel is moved around the formation and looks comfortable wherever that may be. A big part of the success stems from his ability to identify what's coming and getting downhill in a hurry. Rummel carries out his assignments within the framework of the defense and is a technically-sound tackler. His projectable frame can add plenty of good weight and strength, which gives him a sizable ceiling and makes him one to track during the next few seasons.

Central DeWitt reached the playoffs last season with a senior quarterback leading a successful and explosive offense. The Sabers will be challenged to replace him with a capable successor to keep the momentum rolling into 2026 as there is a lot of talent throughout the rest of the roster. Miller was one of two backup signal callers to throw a pass last season. He completed 9 of his 14 attempts for 82 yards and a touchdown, and picked up 11 yards on his lone carry. A good overall athlete, Miller also saw time on defense as a sophomore in 2025, collecting 7.5 tackles, three of which were solo stops. He played a key role in a third phase, serving as the team's punter. Miller averaged 30.9 yards on 19 punts. Evidence of his abilities is hard to find on line. His Hudl page houses clips of two passes from last season and a highlight tape from his ninth-grade year of 2024. There's enough there to extrapolate his talents. Miller gets the ball out of his hand quickly with zip. Ball placement is accurate, allowing receivers to make plays after the catch. He's calm in the pocket and keeps his eyes moving through progressions. If he wins the QB1 job, a breakout could very well be loading.

Farley laid the foundation as a sophomore in 2025 for what could be a breakout campaign this coming fall. The linebacker/fullback contributed seven tackles for the varsity, including three solo stops. He added a tackle and half for loss. Farley provides examples of how his 10th-grade season went during his highlight video. On defense, he's a high-motor player on the second level. Farley flows well with the action, moving well laterally and in a straight line. He's physical and does well in breaking down the ball carrier before tackling him. Farley also is an interesting prospect on offense, lining up at fullback/H-Back. He's a technically sound blocker that takes good angles and stays low. As a good athlete with agility, Farley could be a weapon in the passing game. He's one to keep an eye on this fall as a prospect packed with potential.

Carmichael contributed to the MOC-Floyd Valley cause in all three phases as a sophomore last season. The linebacker/running back registered 17.5 tackles, 15 of which were solo stops. He added a tackle for loss. On offense, he carried the ball 26 times for 198 yards (7.6 YPC) and a touchdown. His lone kick returns went for 10 yards, and he helped out elsewhere on special teams. Carmichael's Hudl page lacks a highlight tape, but there are three videos with clips of him performing in 2025. As a running back, he stands out for his patience in letting his blocks set up and holes to open up. Carmichael changes directions quickly and cuts sharply. He understands when to hit the gas and can get going once in the open field. It's a skill set that also plays well on defense, where the physicality also is needed. Whether he lines up on offense or defense should he play in college, Carmichael would be an asset on special teams.

Williamsburg received key contributions from a number of underclassmen in 2025, which should bode well for at least the next few seasons. Scott was among the sophomores that shined last year. He recorded 21.5 tackles, 19 of them being solo stops, intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble. Scott picked up 44 yards on eight carries, and his only catch was an eight-yard score. He averaged 13.5 yards on a pair of kick returns, and his only punt return was taken back 17 yards. The broad base of skills and athleticism make Scott one to watch moving forward. We can witness that when watching his 10th-grade highlight video. The film opens with him delivering time and again on kick coverage. It highlights his speed and determination. He then shows off his coverage skills as a cornerback, back-peddling smoothly with loose hips to change directions quickly, leading to a pass breakup. Scott diagnoses plays well, knowing when to leave the route in supporting the run.
