He shows he can snap out of his stance, quickly reset the line with a lockout and violent inside hands and reads blocks quickly, splits double teams and works flat backside while showing he can position versatility along the edge or when kicked inside. He is a big framed prospect that is strong at the point, snaps out of his stance and sets his hands quickly while able to reset the line and press into the backfield with leverage and a proper fit. He is twitchy when changing direction, moves well in space and is a high motor kid with a variety of pass rush moves in his toolbox and can eat blocks, rush off the corner and is a very balanced player on the edge. He is a highly instinctual player that can knife into the backfield, shoots gaps and is a strong tackler on the outside with closing speed and takes the proper angles in space on his way to ball carriers. He plays with a low hat, can scrape and fill quickly and shock/shed off blocks while a very smart player that can sniff out screens/draws and has a fast trigger. He can get over the top of safeties, separate at the top of his routes and boxes out smaller corners at the point of attack in the red-zone. After the catch he is a long strider that covers a ton of ground, forces poor angles in the open field and can run a diverse route tree, especially for his age. He is very athletic and moves well for his size, shows he can block at the first and second level and sustain blocks downfield with proper hand placement and a balanced frame through his progressions. Latu can pull and scrape to the second level cutting off angles and shows a nasty finish.
