Early Standouts in Kentucky’s 2028 Offensive Class

The 2028 class in Kentucky is developing and making plays, and today, we're taking a look at a handful of those recruits to keep an eye on this fall.    Thomas is an exciting recruit with elite speed and the ability to flip the field instantly. He shows good vision and runs hard, combining explosiveness with toughness between the tackles. Once he gets into space, he's difficult to catch and can turn routine plays into long touchdowns. He put together a huge year two with 1,385 rushing yards and 21 rushing TDs, while also adding 292 yards and 4 TDs through the air. He's one of the more exciting players to watch because of the big-play ability he brings every time he touches the ball.     Rahschulte is a good athlete with a versatile skill set. He's a multi-sport athlete and the hand-eye coordination shows up on the field. He plays with good balance and looks comfortable working through traffic. He's effective after the catch, especially over the middle, where he can secure the ball and pick up extra yards. He also shows strong hands and good overall strength, helping him finish plays through contact. There's a lot to like with the athletic profile and overall skill set.     Wynn has a big, strong, thick frame and plays with a physical style. He's a powerful runner after the catch and can run through arm tackles without losing momentum. He's also a strong red zone target who goes after the football and understands how to use his frame to create advantages. He finished year two with 14 catches for 231 yards and 3 TDs. The potential is obvious, and he looks primed for a big jump heading into year three.     Grant is a good slot receiver who gets in and out of his breaks quickly. He shows good hands and looks comfortable working underneath and through traffic. He's nimble after the catch and can make defenders miss in space. He also has soft hands and does a nice job settling into zones to give his quarterback an easy target. He's the type of receiver who helps keep the chains moving and brings reliability to the offense.     Jones has clearly been putting in work in the weight room and looks good physically. He's a shifty athlete who can contribute on both sides of the ball and brings good speed with the ball in his hands. Defensively, he also shows good closing speed and the ability to track plays down. He moves well in space and has the athleticism to impact the game in multiple ways. The tools are there, and he's someone who could break out this fall if the opportunity comes.
