2027 Watchlist-to-Ranked OL

Happy <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/05/updated-2027-north-carolina-rankings/">Rankings Update</a> from us here at Prep Redzone! We just dropped a massive update to our 2027 class, with over 190 new players and huge movement within the rankings. One of my favorite lists to look at each update is the list of players who moved from the watchlist to the rankings. We had nearly 40 players make this move during this update, and here are the offensive linemen who fit the description.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Watchlist-to-Ranked Offensive Linemen</h2>    On a team full of guys with Power Four athletic potential, Jaynes is arguably the most technically sound lineman on either side of the Millbrook line. He's an aggressive down blocker with the power to displace defenders. He's also an advanced pass-blocker, with the academic acumen to qualify for high-academic institutions.     Donovan is a massive offensive tackle prospect who we saw at the Carolinas Coaches Combine in Clayton. He has a huge, 79-inch wingspan, which allows him to stay in front of edge rushers. He's difficult to get around, and he has the flexibility to stay low and balanced against power rushers.     Garland is a well-coached guard with massive strength. He's an aggressive blocker who fights until the whistle and isn't afraid to assert himself against defenders. He's still growing as a complete offensive line prospect, but he had plenty of pancakes and fared well as a pass-blocker as well. We're excited to see how he follows up his all-conference junior season.     Leach is one of several talented Middle Creek offensive linemen, and like his teammates, he's well-coached and works well in tandem with the rest of his line. He's stronger than his frame would suggest, and he should continue to put on some more weight this offseason. He certainly hasn't reached his ceiling yet, so we're watching closely to see how good he can become next season.     Hand made his rankings debut on the back end of our site after I scouted him for our <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/02/2027-watchlist-check-in-offensive-line/">Watchlist Check-in</a> piece in late February. I expect him to have a strong offseason in the weight room. With his hand usage and footwork, a bit more size and strength behind his punch could help him take his game to the next level after a strong junior season.
