Every team needs a stalwart left tackle, especially a team that isn’t afraid to air it out, and Donovan showcased that last season and has had a strong offseason. He has a great first step as a pass blocker, and his punch in the running game has steadily improved. He’s added weight, which has helped against bigger edge rushers. It’s nice for a team to have an established tackle, and Donovan fits the bill.

Donovan is a massive offensive tackle prospect who we saw at the Carolinas Coaches Combine in Clayton. He has a huge, 79-inch wingspan, which allows him to stay in front of edge rushers. He’s difficult to get around, and he has the flexibility to stay low and balanced against power rushers.

Donovan has excellent size and quickness; he’s just adjusting to the tackle position. He’s at his best when he’s in attack mode, and his first step and strength can really challenge defenders.
