2027 Defensive Names Emerging at Ryle

He shows good ball skills and understands when to break on the ball, consistently putting himself in position to make plays. He plays through the catch point and tracks the ball all the way to the ground, which helps him come up with late PBUs. He finished with 59 tackles, 6 TFLs, and 2 interceptions. He does a nice job reading the quarterback's eyes and breaking on the ball, with the ability to come off his assignment and make a play. He has a good change of direction, which helps him stay in phase and react quickly. He finished with 50 tackles, 7 PBUs, 3 TFLs, 3 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble. He's super alert on the field, shows good closing speed, and takes calculated risks when breaking on the ball. He led the state with 7 interceptions, including a pick six, and added 6 PBUs, consistently creating turnovers. He does a nice job crashing lanes and disrupting plays early, often getting into the backfield before things can develop. He's stronger than offensive linemen anticipate and plays with good leverage. He also brings a strong motor, chasing plays down from behind and staying involved throughout the rep.
