*Use code "jackson30" for 30% off your PRZ subscription*

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of talent I stumbled upon in the Montgomery area. Here are 7 new names I stumbled across. Some are already on the radar, some aren't. Either way, they all sound D1 alarms in one way or another.

Couldn't find a Twitter on this kid, so not sure what kind of buzz is out there on him. Regardless, he looks the part and plays really well. He is listed at 6'4 180, gifting himself natural leverage to act as a mismatch and win over the top of DBs. He is a speed threat as well. He is quick out of his stance, eliminates cushion, and cuts through zones when running across the field. Again, not sure what kind o buzz is here, but the traits are hard to argue against.

Crawford was a splashy player as a sophomore for Percy Julian and has plenty of improvement left in the tank. He is a lean, longer player who is still growing into himself, but he can hold his top gear to separate, and I still think there's another gear he can reach. His body control flashes plenty on tape, and is what impresses me the most. He doesn't look panicked, reeling in the ball through traffic and pressed to the sidelines. Underrated player with little attention and the ability to break out.

Consider me a big fan of this kid. He is a box checker at 6'5 272, and is built with a lean, cut frame. He is a good athlete with space to easily get to and surpass 300 pounds. He can roll in open space and has the foot speed to stick at tackle. What really sticks out to me is the energy. He plays hard, and thrives off violent contact. His motor and violence, paired with the obvious size and athletic traits, lead me to believe this is a guy who should get FBS attention. Just an easy eval.

Robinson is a two-way player for Pike Road who projects as an RB. He made some plays in his own right, but with two seniors graduating as leading rushers, there's a huge opportunity for Robinson to step up and be the guy for Pike Road at RB. Just a clean player. He is stout, low to the ground, plays with good vision, and has the foot speed to nickel and dime around contact in the short areas. He doubles as a productive baseball player for Pike Road, so he is just an all-around solid athlete who should break out as a senior.

This is my first look at Brooks, who has emerged as a premier player on the defensive front in the region. The FBS offers here are no sham. He plays exactly the way he needs to play at 6'2. He is strong at the point, active with his hands, and has the speed and pursuit skills to chase the ball in space. He can be trusted to make plays in the backfield and rally after the ball. Just an impressive athlete at his size with obvious FBS tools, and I am expecting more schools to get involved here.

There's a lot to like about Hill, who is the premier playmaker for Wetumpka. He is listed at a lean, thin 5'10 160 with reps both as an RB and a receiver. Long-term, I think he projects as an RB, especially when you factor in where his natural growth will take him. He is a slick, smooth athlete who skates around the field. He is a long strider, which helps him gallop away from the defense and makes him hard to chase down. Hill is a big play threat from every spot on the field, and at his age, he will only continue to get better as his floor catches up with his ceiling.

Finch is coming off a breakout junior season, and his senior season could be even more productive. He is a tall, strong 5'11 195, but he is still wiry in his limbs, so there is room to get even bigger. He is a patient, one-cut style runner who throws quick, explosive footwork and head nods to overwhelm defenders and jump into new running lanes. He is still creeping onto the recruiting scene, but he is a high-floor player, certainly capable of playing at a small level of ball, and even generating D1 attention.
