After a successful, sunny day in Downingtown at the PA Classic, there is a lot to say about the talent that was on display. From 9am to the last whistle, players and coaches put in their all to solidify themselves not only in Sunday's tournament but prominence on Prep Redzone. The very best teams will get a ton of recognition simply because of the fire power they brought to the weekend. However, as a recap, I want to highlight some of the top performing teams from Saturday before we dive into individual team evaluations.

As expected, Swag 14u came out swinging Saturday morning. Led by player like Trent Vermillion, [player_tooltip player_id='2163181' first='Ryker' last='Grimm'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2167385' first='Dalton' last='Mourar'], Swag finished the morning off by going 3-0, putting up 65 points while only letting up 18. While their 13u team only beat one opponent, I was still impressed with how well they held their own against 14u squads.

The one team they beat was Loyal 14u, who ended up winning their next two matchups while solidifying themselves as one of the best units of the day.

Focus Elite was another impressive team. With QB Declan McConnell slinging the rock, he helped lead his team to 3 straight wins in a dominating fashion.

My favorite team of the day, and one I would put my money on to win it all Sunday is Slime University. With a roster that includes Haiden Redman, Carl Lomax, and Iziah Guzman, Slime is one of the most well rounded teams on the field and showed it Saturday by winning all of their games and putting up 86 points.

However, Syracuse Elite set themselves apart by a huge margin. Winning every game on Saturday, they put up an astonishing 92 points while only letting up only 21; setting themselves up to be in a good position on Sunday to make a run. With the chemistry I saw Saturday, I expect Austin Arney and Daniel Davis Jr. to have themselves a day when they start back up tomorrow at 11am.
