I've seen him multiple times this offseason from my drop in with OFFA Academy on Saturday mornings to 5v5 competitions at West High and at Providence Hall. Xander is a twitchy, explosive athlete. He has been working as an EDGE rusher and working inside in these settings. He's taking on lineman that outweigh him a good 30-60 lbs and he is winning reps against them. He has an explosive first step, has the hip bend to win on the edge, shows good power and physicality to win reps on the interior and he is someone who has multiple move sets at his disposal. Big time year is ahead for him.

Elias has put on good size this offseason. He has a ready made frame for the next level and for a player his size, he is light on his feet and he moves exceptionally well. He has a strong base and is fundamentally sound. He's responsive and quck off the line and does a good job of keeping speedy EDGE rushers in front of him. With his footwork, he is a lineman who can be used to pull and get to the second level. He's a fun lineman to watch and is a FBS caliber player. His recruitment should see an uptick.

I've seen Finau several times this offseason. From 5v5 competitions to 7's, he is an exciting athlete for the class. He's a defensive lineman that can win on the edge or be moved inside. He is a versatile playmaker, who is explosive off the line, is violent in his movement and has strong hands and is a physical player. In 5v5 formats, he's taking on Lineman in the 2027 class and lineman that currently hold P4 offers and winning those reps. He is a disruptor and will be a force as a Freshman. He should be a contributor at the varsity level right away. Elite talent.

Noah has been excellent this offseason in 5v5 formats. He is a lineman with excellent size and a strong base. He's a versatile lineman who can work inside or outside with his size, footwork, and technique. His physicality stands out when you watch him, but for everything that I mentioned above, he is light on his feet and moves like a player that is 220lbs, not someone approaching 300lbs. His hands are quick, and violent, and he plays with a mean strike that you want to see. Plenty of fun traits that will make him a top end P4 talent.

That was a look at some players making moves this offseason.

Let's take a look at some players I've seen up close this offseason and how they're making the most of their time before the summer hits.
