Owen was everywhere on defense as he recorded 77 tackles, three TFLs, and a sack. Wiese is a smart LB with great instincts for reading his keys and a quick first step that sends him downhill when he triggers the run. He plays his gaps very well and showed that he can be physical and use his hands to disengage from blockers at the line of scrimmage. Good tackler in the open field. Owen showed that he's not just a run defender, but can hold his own in coverage as well, with solid range to cover a good chunk of the field. He will also look to play through a pass catcher's hands to force pass breakups. Owen was a part of the Vikings' rushing attack last season, ending the year with 42 carries for 134 yards, so we could see him take on a bigger load on offense this fall. Sleeper prospect to keep an eye on!

(@RylanEberle)

Doniphan-Trumbull's [player_tooltip player_id='1639209' first='Rylan' last='Eberle'] is a two-way starter for the Cardinals who is surprisingly flying under the radar. Rylan plays on the offensive and defensive line and ended his junior season with 30 tackles, five TFLs, and a fumble recovery. Rylan may be a bit "undersized" at 6'2" and 200 pounds, but he outworks that with a nasty mean streak and non-stop motor on the field. He does a great job of keeping his base low to maintain leverage over his opponent and then uses his hands to disengage from blockers. Rylan is disciplined about keeping his eyes in the backfield, tracking the ball, and closing on it very well with his lateral quickness. That lateral burst was also evident on the offensive side of the ball, where he was able to get out on pulling blocks with ease and mirror shifty rushers in pass protection. Solid prospect with a ton of upside!

(@JaceSchukar)

The Loomis Wolves return a solid core of players as they look to break through for a big playoff run. Incoming senior [player_tooltip player_id='1429576' first='Jace' last='Schukar'] will be spearheading that effort on offense after being the team's leading rusher last season, ending with 197 carries, 1,361 yards, and 26 rushing touchdowns. Jace runs with great vision and a quick change of direction, helping him cut and juke his way to open lanes. Once he's hit his run lanes, Schukar flashes a nice burst of speed to separate from second-level defenders and can hit another gear to break away for the home run ball. A strong base and shifty footwork allow him to stay upright as he takes on defenders. Schukar was also effective in the passing game, recording 156 yards and two touchdowns on seven receptions and showing true upside as a slot receiver. Jace also contributed 48 tackles, four TFLs, a sack, two interceptions (one return for TD), a forced fumble, and a kickoff return TD.

(@DuryeaDane15)

Anselmo-Merna's [player_tooltip player_id='1900492' first='Dane' last='Duryea'] is a very interesting prospect with a ton of raw talent waiting to be unlocked at the next level. He starred on both sides of the field as a dual-threat QB and LB, ending the year with 612 passing yards, 1,869 rushing yards, seven passing touchdowns, 37 rushing touchdowns, 84 tackles, two TFLs, and three interceptions. Dane's athleticism, size, and versatility will draw the attention of several coaches as he stands 6'4" and 200 pounds, could play QB, RB, TE, LB, or S, and has a reported 4.71 40-yard dash. Watching Dane's tape, my biggest takeaway was that he is a flat-out "gamer." He is very tough to bring down on initial contact and often requires multiple defenders to make the tackle. Duryea embraces contact and will often even look to dish some out himself. Defensively, Duryea is a quick-trigger LB with a quick first step when he keys in on the run. He uses good technique and power at the point of attack to ensure the stop. Versatile ATH worth getting on campus this summer!

(@kade_mcfadden13)

Centennial's [player_tooltip player_id='1616936' first='Kade' last='McFadden'] is a pass catcher to have on your watchlist after a solid junior campaign for the Broncos. A concussion limited Kade to only six games, but he still managed to haul in 26 catches for 274 yards and four receiving touchdowns. Kade stands out as a taller receiver at 6'2" with a rangy catch radius and room to continue adding some mass to his frame at the next level. He does a great job using his size to create separation and take advantage of mismatches, especially in the redzone. Kade also impressed with his deep-ball ability, showing he can track the ball in the air and follow it all the way through the catch, even through traffic/contact. Now that the offense has more experience going into the season, watch out for a possible breakout campaign for McFadden!

Make sure to follow @PRZ_OscarG for more news on Nebraska and Iowa HS recruiting.
