SPARTANBURG | Sunday's Carolinas Coaches Combine at Spartanburg High gave us the chance to see the future stars of tomorrow during Session 3, from the Upstate, Midlands and Catawba River Region. There was no shortage of talent from the class of 2028 and 2029, starting with the session's MVP, York quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='379090' first='Ryan' last='Brochu'] (pictured above).

“It's amazing, you know? It's like 25 different schools. Close to 1,000 people out here. It feels great to know that I came out on top," Brochu said. "They really taught me to keep my elbow up, get everybody in line. A lot of coaches were good out here."

Here's a quick rundown at all the award winners from Session III:

TOP OFFENSIVE LINEMEN

Kian Jones York

Checking in with a 79.75 wing span, Jones is big and tough on the offensive line and he won battles throughout the afternoon with good use of his hands and not allowing the opposing defensive linemen to get penetration.

TOP DEFENSIVE LINEMEN

[player_tooltip player_id='1467822' first='Josh' last='Evans'] Mauldin

Evans is tough to block and showed great physicality using his hands when we went over to check him out in the one-on-ones against the opposing offensive linemen.

TOP OFFENSIVE COMBO

Joe Moore Ninety Six

Moore showed excellent quickness with the ball in his hands and consistently beat the opposition one-on-one, and took the fight to them with his ability to change directions and burst out of the hole.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301735' first='Dash' last='Holley'] Northwestern

The Trojans' linebacker saw time as a freshman, and Sunday's combine will only allow him to catapult himself into what could be a huge sophomore season. Checking in with a 27 inch vertical and 15 reps on the bench, he was tough for opposing guys to get open against.
