A lineman with elite size, length, strength, get-off/burst, hand use, flexibility, and rush moves. The athletes in today's article are special and need to be on the radar and high up on the recruiting boards of college programs. Let's get into the lab and build our recruit!</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>SIZE AND FRAME</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">2027 Cabell Midland EDGE Eli Thompson has the kind of build you can do a lot with. Thompson brings length, strength, and room to keep developing at 6'3 225, which shows up in how versatile he is on the field. Thompson can line up on the edge and set the tone with his physicality, then slide back and move comfortably in space without looking out of place at linebacker. He's strong enough to hold up inside and athletic enough to run and redirect, giving him a wide range of impact. That frame, combined with how well he moves, makes Thompson a high-upside prospect with plenty of ways to affect the game.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>PASS RUSH</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">2027 Riverside EDGE Zion Christian is built to affect the quarterback, and his pass-rush ability stands out right away. Christian comes off the ball with a quick first step and plays with natural bend, allowing him to get under tackles and turn the corner. He stays low, uses his hands well to stay clean, and has the strength to work through contact when needed. Christian can win with speed or power, and he closes fast once he gets an opening. That combination makes him a consistent problem off the edge and gives him the versatility to move around and attack different matchups.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>BEND</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">2027 Hedgesville EDGE Jordan Burch shows the kind of bend that's hard to teach and easy to spot on film. Burch gets low and turns the corner smoothly, dipping under tackles and staying balanced as he works upfield. He can rush from a two-point or with his hand down and still keep that same flexibility and body control. Burch has the size and power to stay on his path, and once he clears the edge, he closes with intent. Walker has an elite first step, firing out of his stance with quickness that most offensive linemen struggle to match. He stays low through that initial burst and immediately puts tackles in recovery mode. Walker's ability to redirect and move laterally only adds to the pressure, allowing him to stay on track even when linemen try to adjust. At 6'3, 250, Noble plays with strength and control, making it difficult for blockers to move him 1-on-1. Noble uses his hands to lock out and control the point of attack, keeping himself square and closing off running lanes. He sets a firm edge, doesn't get washed out, and forces plays back inside where help is waiting. That ability to anchor and control the run game gives Noble a strong foundation heading into a season where he's ready to take the next step.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>MOTOR</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">2027 Independence DL Isaiah Conley plays with an impressive motor that doesn't shut off. Conley brings steady effort from snap to whistle, chasing the ball and finishing plays with intent. Conley has the length at 6'3 and strength to fight through blocks, but it's the effort that stands out, as he keeps working and rarely gets stuck or lost in traffic. He closes quickly when the play comes his way and stays active even when it doesn't. That nonstop approach makes Conley a tough player to deal with over four quarters and a big reason why he's our #1 DL in the 2027 class.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>POWER</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">2027 Williamstown DL Christian Hoosier brings real force to the line, and it shows up the moment he makes contact. Hoosier plays with strong, violent hands and a punch that can jolt blockers backward right off the snap. He wins with power as a bull rusher, driving his man into the backfield and collapsing space quickly. Hoosier keeps himself clean with his active hands and pairs that strength with athleticism to stay active throughout the play. When Hoosier gets rolling, he can take over a game and make life tough on any offensive line.</p>
