Hasty is bouncy and loose as an athlete at a listed size of 5110 170, reportedly up to 177 this offseason. He has very good lateral agility and a solid baseline for growth and development. The track twitch and explosivity translates to the football field. Mayfield is oily in the hips. He shows good acceleration out of his break, and reacts well to the ball at the catch point. Coming downhill, there is notable lateral agility and closing burst. He evades blockers using his athletic ability. The athletic tool groundwork sets him with a solid floor at corner. Leadership and football intelligence materializes in presnap communication. His credentials are rock solid with a 3.8 GPA, First Team All State, First Team All Conference, and a two-sport athlete on the diamond. In 2025, Casso lit up stat books to the tune of 80 tackles, 2 TFL, 9 picks - one for 6, 8 PBU, and a forced fumble. Casso is a smart player that puts himself in position to be a playmaker and produce at a high level, even in the return game on specs. Size is good, he has some build and falls athletically well above average in the deep half defensively. His timing, anticipation, awareness, and instincts show up all over his tape. At the point of contact, he plays with physicality. At the combine setting in Summer 2025, Reed measured in at 5100 150, now listed at 165. Reed is loose and smooth in transition, quick to accelerate, sudden in his spike downhill to attack the backfield, reacts to the ball well, and plays well above his frame with his physicality on contact. Offensively, Reed is productive with the ball, turns the corner with aggression, has playmaker tendencies, shows football intelligence feeling the gaps in the scramble drill. This developmental athlete has excellent growth potential, and could find himself in the secondary or at linebacker. He is well defined and well built. He is physical on contact, has a trigger, aggressive attacking the ball carrier, makes tackles in space, has Division I level athletic ability and could project as a hybrid at the next level. This spring, in his first time ever running the 100m, he ripped off an 11.3. This is athleticism and explosiveness.
