We keep saying it at Prep Redzone, but Washington is set for a "golden age" of sorts with the classes of 2028-2031, as the state is absolutely loaded with national recruits and potential double-digit offer guys.

It's an exciting time, especially since we are already seeing some of those young athletes contribute at the highest levels of high school football - and earn scholarship offers based on those performances.

With that in mind, we took a look at a collection of 2029 Washington quarterbacks who have already shown talent and production at the varsity level.

In some cases, these players are already stars on Friday nights. In others, we highlight a player who we expect to break out in a big way this fall.

Here's a look at some soon-to-be-sophomores who are ready to put on a show.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1557937' first='Jadis' last='Lefono'], Lakes — The fabulous freshman has already accomplished big things as a high school quarterback.

He was the Puget Sound League (Nisqually Division) Offensive MVP and earned a shcholarship offer from the San Diego State Aztecs.

But even those accolades don't truly do him justice.

In leading Lakes to a 10-2 record Lefono accumulated 2,196 yard and 27 touchdowns (17 passing, 10 rushing).

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound signal-caller is a superb athlete and has shown leadership and toughness beyond his years.

Lefono has an incredibly-high ceiling and it wouldn't be a shock to see him earn a Power 4 offer before the end of the year.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1906030' first='Drew' last='Sorensen'], Archbishop Murphy — Sorensen has ideal size at 6-foot-3 and a still-growing 192 pounds.

And he hit the ground running as a freshman.

Sorensen threw for 1,216 yards and 11 touchdowns while completing 66 percent of his passes, which earned him all-conference honors.

More important, he helped Archbishop Murphy to an undefeated 13-0 season, culminating in a state title.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='570837' first='Jagger' last='McEwen'], Kamiakin — McEwen will definitely check the D1 size box, as he's already 6-foot-3, 175 pounds.

As a freshman, he threw for 1,658 yards and 21 touchdowns with just eight interceptions, leading his team to a 9-3 mark.

McEwen has drawn solid reviews during his time with Team Lillard this offseason, and he appears to be a young prospect very much on the rise.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1557945' first='Cordae' last='Norling'], Cascade Christian —Norling is very much still developing physically, as he is listed at 6-foot-1, 156 pounds.

But his slight (still growing) frame didn't slow him down last fall.

And either did many defenses.

Norling threw for 1,963 yards and 21 touchdowns with just six interceptions, completing an eye-opening 75.2 percent of his passes in the process.

There's still plenty of development to go, but freshman seasons don't get much more encouraging than what we saw from Norling last fall.

And there's still three more years to come.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1557952' first='Allias' last='Moimoi'], O'Dea — While [player_tooltip player_id='1582217' first='Hutton' last='Leverett'] was the starter for state champion O'Dea, Moimoi made his presence felt as “the next man up.”

He was the game's MVP in a semifinal win over Bellevue and established himself as the heir apparent to one of the state's best football programs.

Big things are expected of the young signal-caller and he could significantly raise his profile next fall.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='2122973' first='Graydon' last='Burns'], Heritage — In just three-and-a-half games as a freshman, Burns threw for 7 touchdowns and established himself as a young player to watch.

Now at Heritage, a big season is likely on the horizon.

It's definitely something Prep Redzone is watching very closely.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='2137828' first='Luke' last='Christofferson'], Mercer Island — in five games for Mercer Island, the 6-foot, 150-pound signal-caller put himself on the map.

He threw for 507 yards and 7 touchdowns, announcing himself as a player to watch in the state as a freshman.

A big statistical leap should be forthcoming this fall, and he's an intriguing player to keep an eye on, especially as he continues to grow.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1557975' first='Colten' last='Reid'], Auburn-Riverside — A 5-foot-11, 170-pound signal-caller who plays for FSP and is just 14 years old, Reid is a young signal-caller with some upside.

Reid throws a nice, catchable deep ball and showed a developing understanding of layering his passes over the middle.

There was a lot to like on tape, especially as he gets stronger over the next three years.

He showed poise and ability well beyond his age and PRZ is eager to see more from him.

We keep saying it at Prep Redzone, but Washington is set for a "golden age" of sorts with the classes of 2028-2031, as the state is absolutely loaded with national recruits and potential double-digit offer guys.
