The 4th annual PRZ Sooner State Shootout took place in Broken Arrow this weekend and we had over 100 teams from this region competing on Saturday and Sunday. In the 10U division, Sooner 7 took home the championship. But we got to see quite a few players from teams throughout the division stand out in one way or another. After watching the action this weekend, here's our breakdown of just over a dozen players from the 10U division!
Andrew Reyes - Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - CHJ Elite
CHJ Elite made a run to the 10U championship game and Andrew Reyes played a big part throughout the weekend. On offense, and defense, Reyes really shined. He was consistently making plays on both sides of the ball and his length and overall size was a match-up problem for opponents throughout the weekend.
Braxton Richardson - Quarterback/Athlete - Strongside KC
Quarterback and overall athlete Braxton Richardson is the one non-Oklahoman on this breakdown. He played for Strongside KC and was one of several quarterbacks that impressed us throughout the tournament. But he also found a way to make plays at other positions to have a complete performance on both sides of the ball.

was the best quarterback in the division on Saturday. We got a chance to watch the majority of the games they played and Adams was consistently putting the ball where it needed to be, despite dealing with consistent winds. Adams also turned around and made plenty of plays on defense.
Creeden Myers - Athlete - TLR 7v7
Joining Adams on this breakdown is Creeden Myers and he was one of a handful of defensive players that caught our attention. Myers also played offense and had some nice catches but we really liked his effort and intensity on the defensive side of the ball. He was a lockdown player on defense, specifically on Saturday.

After watching games all day Saturday and Sunday, we're confident that Sooner 7 wide receiver and defensive back

was the MVP for the 10U division. Morris used his speed to dominate on the offensive side of the ball and he also made clutch plays on defense Sunday. It was a complete performance from start to finish.
James Smith James Smith OK - Quarterback - D1 Ducks
The D1 Ducks had a couple players that stood out to us while watching them Saturday and Sunday. Quarterback James Smith James Smith OK was one of the quarterbacks that performed very well throughout the tournament. Specifically on Saturday, Smith found a way to push the ball downfield and was one of the better quarterbacks in the division.

was another standout for Sooner 7 as they made a run to the 10U championship. McFarlin is a shifty playmaker that knows how to pick up the extra yards by eluding defenders. He made some big plays, specifically on the defensive side of the ball during their championship win on Sunday.
Krew Pratt - Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - D1 Ducks
While his teammate Smith shined for consistency, Krew Pratt shined for consistent playmaking ability. It seemed like every time we had eyes on the Ducks, it was Pratt that was making plays. And it didn't matter if it was offense or defense, Pratt was always in the area and continued to shine throughout the weekend.
Kyler Drumm - Quarterback - CHJ Elite
CHJ Elite quarterback Kyler Drumm helped guide this squad to the championship game on Sunday. Drumm is no stranger to performing well in our PRZ 7v7 tournaments in the past. This weekend, he was efficient and did a great job of spreading the ball around to the different playmakers. He impressed us once again this weekend.
Liam Link - Wide Receiver/Linebacker - Sooner 7
We mentioned match-up nightmares earlier and that's exactly what Liam Link was for Sooner 7. He probably had at least four inches on nearly every other player in the division. But he was moving around really well on both sides of the ball. Needless to say, he was one of the more valuable players for what he brought on offense and defense.
Luke Raftery - Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - F3 Dawgs
First thing on Saturday morning, F3 Dawgs were getting after it in pool play and Luke Raftery continued to shine on both sides of the ball. In fact, he was the first player in the 10U division that earned "Top Performer" status with his play early in the day. The Edmond product had a really good performance on Saturday.
MJ Ferguson - Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - CHJ Elite
MJ Ferguson is the final standout for CHJ Elite from this weekend. He played incredibly well when we watched them make a run through bracket play. Talking with his coach (and dad) after the game, Ferguson was not close to 100% and only really played on Sunday. He made the best of his opportunity and played really well.
Murry Turner Murry Turner OK - Quarterback - Sooner 7
Sooner 7 had quite a few standouts as they made a run to the 10U championship game. But we have to tip our cap to the quarterback as Murry Turner Murry Turner OK was incredibly consistent throughout the tournament. While we were watching them, Turner rarely made a mistake throwing the ball. He did a great job of getting the ball to those playmakers.
