A physical North Georgia back who ran through defenses consistently last season, not only is Chadwick a power back for the Yellow Jackets at 6-foot-2 215-pounds, but a really good athlete who moves well and can make a big play when his number is called. While also making an impact on defense, Chadwick was a weapon out of the backfield last season as a junior, rushing for over 1,000 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also averaged an eye-opening 9.3 yards per carry along the way. Chadwick one of the more underrated two-way prospects across North Georgia and will be an easy addition to the spring 2027 Prep Redzone rankings update.

A sleeper do-it-all athlete from Savannah, Holland may not be physically imposing, but he's a natural athlete who plays hard and was consistently one of the better players in his region last season. He runs well and can change direction while being able to run with authority at 5-foot-11 180-pound frame. The productive ball-carrier ran for over 1,000 yards last season as a junior with 13 touchdowns. He also played quarterback, throwing for 633 yards and three touchdowns. The small-school standout has a chance to lit up the stat sheet during his final senior season in 2026.

It was a tough year for Northside in 2025, but Tarboro was a bright spot at the running back position. He's a slippery back who can slide through poor tackles and take off down the field. He's tough to corral and run down from behind for opposing defenders. He shows quick feet, burst, and enough vision to sneak his way through the line off scrimmage. One of the more underrated backs in West Georgia, Tarboro ran for a respectable 791 yards and seven touchdowns last season, hitting the 100-yard mark three times. He'll be an easy addition to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

A Middle Georgia back on the rise, Banks in a pin-ball type of back who knows how to run hard and bounce of defenders who don't wrap up properly. A tough, physical two-way player who also shines on defense, Banks is one of the top returning backs in the region after rushing for 724 yards and an eye-opening 18 touchdowns, finding the end-zone in every game last season on the ground. He finishes runs strong, consistently falls forward, and is looking to score every time he has the ball. He's one of the more productive backs in the area in store for another gigantic season as a senior this fall.

It may have been a tough year for Commerce, but they've got a running back returning who could help them improve in 2026. Lyle finished the season strong, rushing for over 175 yards in each of his last two games. He rushed for 184 yards against Banks County before taking off against Providence Christian for 178 yards and two touchdowns. On the year he rushed for 707 yards and six touchdowns. Once of the top sleeper running backs in the Athens area, Lyle is a shifty back who runs with balance. He can break tackles in the second level and is one of the top returning backs in the region for the 2027 class.
