Still, there are plenty of talented prospects in the county who are lacking proper recruiting attention. He is on pace for an even more productive senior season. Rooney definitely had some splash at times as a junior. He has good foot speed for his size and is agile enough to contribute in YAC settings. He can also work routes over the middle of the field. His legs are what set the intrigue for me. This kid can role, quickly finding his top speed, outrunning angles, and splitting engaging defenders in space. At his size and with his athleticism, he can definitely hold his own as a skill player, but he has plenty to offer as a pure QB projection as well. He evades pressure well in the pocket, gets the ball out quickly, and flashes good ball placement down the field, giving his receivers space to run. Anderson flashed a bit on varsity last fall, and it's hard to argue against his traits. Not much to overthink here. He is all of 6'2 210, and offers plenty of speed in the second-level. He is trusted in pursuit situations, with the space skills and athleticism to play out in space and handle coverage assignments. I am intrigued to see how Anderson looks this fall. He contributed on both sides of the ball, but he projects best long-term as a receiver. Thomas is a speedy slot projection who can contribute at each level of the field. He is light enough on his feet to dance around coverages, and he settles in soft spots better than most receivers at his size. Thomas is reliable with the juice to generate explosive plays from any spot on the field. Regardless, he is a good prospect in his own right. He is a strong, physical safety, measuring in around 6'0 200. Downhill, physical player who leverages and engages the ball well. Can be trusted to support in the run game at his size, but he is much better in coverage than you'd think. He knows his spots, gets to them, and has the ball skills to execute. He stands at 6'3, and while I couldn't find an official weight, he has plenty of room to get bigger. Really impressive player athletically. All you have to do is watch him move. He is fast and smooth as is, but he does it with long strides. He is difficult to run with in space, which leads to explosive plays with his legs. He has a long, elastic release, so he naturally can push the ball downfield. Stout, strong frame. Calm presence in the pocket, standing tall against pressure while delivering. He can sniff each part of the field, using his ball placement and touch to drop the ball into tight areas and keep his receivers out of harm's way.
