New Wave of Athletes Securing Initial College Offers

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>A new wave of talent is starting to emerge on the recruiting scene as prospects across the region secure their first college offers. After months of offseason work and strong showings on film, these athletes are beginning to see that effort translate into real opportunities at the next level. Here's a look at the latest names getting on the board and building early momentum.</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Brooks earned his first offer from Jamestown last week and will see increased recruiting attention going into the spring contact period. At 6'5” 310 lbs. he checks a lot of boxes that college coaches look for with the size, strength, and versatility he possesses. He's a dominant force in the trenches that can overwhelm opponents with his size, length, and natural power. Well coached, he demonstrates good footwork and hand usage while executing a variety of different blocks. On tape, he shows he can get out in front as a puller, chip and work to the second level, and line up a defender in space to initiate contact. Heavy striker at the contact point in the run game and can match movement in pass protection to keep a clean pocket. At 6'1” 250 lbs. he shows good positional versatility to play OG, OC, or LS at the next level. Possesses a strong and compact frame with plus athleticism and movement skills. Light on his feet, he's flashes good initial quickness off the ball to beat defenders to the spot and establish positional leverage. Engages contact with a wide base, good balance, and powerful leg drive to move opponents and open up running lanes. Constantly attacking and playing downhill he's fast, physical, and instinctual. At LB, he's quick to process his reads and trigger to the ball showing he can aggressively fill gaps, scrape laterally to play down the line, and has the speed to work sideline to sideline. He's got a great nose for the football and is violent at the contact point. Demonstrates natural ball carrier instincts at RB with good burst, short area quickness, and the power to run through tacklers. Finished the 2025 season with 56 tackles in addition to his 1,260 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns. Fluid movement skills with good all around speed. At DB, he flashes the short area burst to plant and drive on the ball and the sustained second gear to carry vertical routes. Good awareness to dissect route concepts and can read the QB's eye's to anticipate ball location. Shows strong ball skills on both sides being able to judge, track, and adjust to flight. Attacks the ball in the air using good body control and coordination to win in traffic. College ready frame at 6'4” 210 lbs. with smooth arm action and a compact release. Demonstrates clean footwork throughout his drop back and delivery staying balanced and in rhythm to boost accuracy and timing. Shows he can throw from different arm angles to deliver a catchable ball with touch/trajectory. Does a good job with ball location to avoid defenders and allow his receivers to extend gains after the catch. Flashes confidence and arm talent hitting his spots at all three levels, across the middle, and to the boundary. Projects as a slot where he can pick apart defenses with his quick twitch and sharp route running but also showed he can split out wide and run by coverage as a deep threat. He's a tough coverage that sells his routes hard with good stems and head fakes but separates naturally with his speed. After the catch, he's extremely elusive in the open field being able to cut around defenders with great lateral agility, balance, and acceleration coming out.
