<p>Prep Redzone Louisiana wanted to spotlight some of these multisport athletes to watch in the semifinals and finals and the seasons they've had thus far to reach the state's biggest high school hoops stage. With so many worth noting, we split between lists for both the select and non-select brackets to spotlight more than 20 players.</p>

<p>Here's a look at 10-plus of the top names on the select side, while trying to spread out representation for more schools and players.</p>

<p>The Vikings' star cornerback, who hit the Prep Redzone Louisiana radar during the college camp circuit last summer and signed with Butler Community College last month, helped lead the football program to their first playoff win in 15 years in the fall and is now a part of the basketball program making its deepest playoff run since 2014. </p>

<p><strong>Kellen Brewer — 6-6, 160 WR — Metairie Park Country Day (2027)</strong></p>

<p>The Cajuns, perennial powers on the basketball court, are back in the semifinals and aiming to defend their Division-III Select crown with their dynamic wings — intriguing prospects as pass-catchers on the football field — among the leaders again. Brewer, the son of former NBA players and current New Orleans Pelicans assistant Corey Brewer, leads the teams with 19 points per game. McAllister, the son of former New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister, averaged nine points per game this season and is known for his defensive performance as well. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1610241' first='Jude' last='Chamberlain'] — 6-5, 230 TE — Catholic-Baton Rouge (2027)</strong></p>

<p>One of the top tight ends in a good Louisiana class at the position has his Bears back in their first hoops state tournament since the program's 2023 championship. Chamberlain, an agile and skilled big man, leads the team in both scoring and rebounding with 11 points and seven boards per game, along with a couple assists.</p>

<p><strong>Monte Farmer Jr. — 6-8, 175 QB/ATH — Washington-Marion (2026)</strong></p>

<p>The Chargin' Indians are back in the state tournament for the first time since their 2017 championship and have one of their most intriguing all-around athletes in recent years among the leaders of the run. The tall, athletic dual-threat quarterback has averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in his final high school basketball season. </p>

<p>The dynamic duo, fresh off helping lead their school's first football championship since 2004, are among the Tigers' leaders in the run to a fourth straight basketball state tournament. Haven and Washington are two of the team's four top scorers and three top rebounders. Haven, the highly ranked junior quarterback holds averages of 14 points, seven rebounds and a team-high six assists with his strong vision and decision-making in both sports. Washington, the South Alabama signee, has averages heading to the tournament are 13 points, six rebounds and two assists. </p>

<p><strong>Jabari Levingston — 6-2, 185 ATH — Lincoln Prep (2028)</strong></p>

<p>The versatile athlete is already one of his school's stars on both the field and the court as just a sophomore as an all-state honorable mention this fall with a well-rounded stat line as a rusher, pass-catcher and defensive back this fall and now averages of 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists in helping lead a fifth straight tournament run this spring. The Panthers feature notable football flavor on their tournament team, including brothers Joseph and Josiah Spann in their starting lineup.</p>

<p><strong>Dominic Lipari — 6-2, 185 DB — Central Catholic (2026)</strong></p>

<p>Central Catholic returns to the state tournament for the first time since 2019 after three other quarterfinal appearances in between, and their star safety is one of three senior starters on this year's basketball squad making that run. </p>
