One of several receivers that greatly benefited from playing alongside a fellow sophomore standout, [player_tooltip player_id='1671366' first='Mack' last='Murdock'], [player_tooltip player_id='1601592' first='Abram' last='Decena'] will be in line for a major breakout season this fall, returning alongside his classmate.

That's if you wouldn't call his sophomore campaign breakout year. He grabbed 44 receptions for 771 yards and 11 touchdowns on behalf of the Big Reds, with the latter number leading all second-year receivers in Iowa.

A big, thick pass-catcher that moves much more fluidly than one would expect by just looking at him, Decena is deceptively smooth. Also possessing excellent ball skills, Decena grabs catches late, ensuring a DB can't stick his hands in and disrupt a pass, he high-points catches and his timing is excellent. He'd benefit from making plays in the open field on a more regular basis, but Decena's ability to track the ball is his calling card at the moment.

A corner that does many of the right things while making the flashy play here and there, [player_tooltip player_id='1529005' first='Justin' last='Ehlers'] looks ready-made for FCS ball. A corner that doesn't get beat deep, stays disciplined as a tackler, breaking down and making open-field tackles with the best of the corners in the state and staying locked up with his assignment, Ehlers is a player that may not get the attention now, but he will if he keeps trending upward.

Posting 34.5 tackles, two tackles-for-loss (TFLs), forcing a fumble, grabbing two interceptions (including a pick-six) and posting three pass-breakups (PBUs), Ehlers has potential at either corner or nickel at the next level, especially thanks to his consistency as a tackler.

[player_tooltip player_id='1584562' first='Luke' last='Iverson'] is a dynamic athlete that uses his length effectively both as a receiver and as a defensive back. Missing the majority of his sophomore campaign with Norwalk, the soon-to-be junior will play for Dowling Catholic next season after transferring.

Showing off some of what he was capable as a freshman with the Warriors, Iverson finished his first year of varsity ball with 14 tackles and two interceptions, using his ranginess, speed and length to cover a good chuck of the field as a defensive back. His film shows vision and natural reaction to plays in front of him, like breaking up passes and making tackles.

In camp appearances as a wide receiver, Iverson shows twitchiness and quick feet, showing potential in duping DBs and getting open down the field. He has a chance to play either DB or WR at the next level, and Dowling will only help him further pursue that goal.

A small, speedy receiver that every team now wants and needs at the next level. With the experience as Jefferson's go-to receiver, [player_tooltip player_id='1358941' first='Braxton' last='Parks'] will have plenty of catches and touchdowns under his belt by the time he reaches college football. This last season with the Yellow Jackets, he caught 53 passes for 781 yards and ten scores.

He put together the majority of his production in the screen game, slants over the middle and out-routes, serving as the scatty, playmaking receiver that was an exhausting cover for corners and safeties alike. Catching the ocassional go-ball, too, Parks was a threat down the field.

Set to transfer and play for Lewis Central, a powerhouse in western Iowa, Parks will get even more exposure and quality reps in one of the best programs in recent memory. He'll need to add weight to his frame and maintain his speed, but Parks has potential to be a solid slot receiver.

Finishing the season as the second-leading tackler amongst sophomores in all classes with 84, [player_tooltip player_id='1900142' first='Christian' last='Williams'] was a relentless force on behalf of central Iowa powerhouse, Van Meter this fall.

Bursting onto the scene after growing an inch and gaining 25 pounds between his freshman and sophomore seasons, Williams was one of the more impactful two-way players in the state. Not only did he finish as the team's leading tackler on the same squad as Northern Iowa signee, [player_tooltip player_id='1354767' first='Tate' last='Doggett'], Williams was the leading rusher on the ground for the Bulldogs, taking 208 carries for 1,054 yards and 16 scores.

He may not be the athletic freak or massively imposing physical presence that some teams look for at the next level, but Williams' constant ball-pursuit and aggressive running style have the feel of molding the perfect, small-school linebacker that feasts at a place like UNI or another FCS program in the Midwest.
