The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit made their first ever stop in Springfield, Missouri this weekend with the inaugural Route 66 Classic. The temperature was hot for March and the action on the field was just as hot on Saturday. In the 18U division, these five players stood out to us in a major way during pool Saturday afternoon. Four different states featured in this breakdown! Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone online for more player breakdowns and on social media for highlights, mic'd up features and much more!

Braylen Warren - 2027 Quarterback - Warren Academy (Nebraska)

Warren Academy's 2027 quarterback Braylen Warren came into the Route 66 Classic as one of the top quarterbacks in the tournament. He immediately lived up to the hype as he helped his team to a perfect 3-0 record on Saturday. We walked away very impressed with how flawless Warren was throughout the afternoon. The ball absolutely leaps out of his hand and is always on a rope to his intended receiver. The combination of arm strength and accuracy is a big reason why he's considered the top quarterback in Nebraska's 2027 class. We had high expectations coming into the tournament for the Missouri commit and there is no doubt that he exceeded them with his play.

Cohen Beach - 2027 Wide Receiver - GC7 (Arkansas)

For the second time in the last few weeks, 2027 wide receiver Cohen Beach dominated a Prep Redzone 7v7 tournament. The first time was a few weeks ago in Oklahoma. This weekend, Beach immediately picked up where he left off, torching an opponent for four touchdown receptions in their opening game of pool play. That was just the beginning of a very productive outing for Beach on Saturday. With nearly 100 teams in attendance, there's no certainty on this, but it's hard to imagine many other players had a better Saturday than Beach. He helped GC7 finish pool play with a 3-0 record.

Koleman Fredrickson - 2027 Quarterback - BSP Activate (Missouri)

2027 quarterback Koleman Fredrickson is the Missouri representative for this breakdown as he helped lead BSP Activate to a 2-1 record on Saturday. Fredrickson and his squad started off hot, winning their first two games before losing a tough game in the pool play finale to GC7. Fredrickson immediately looked the part when we were watching him. His arm strength was off the charts and he did a really good job of keeping everyone involved throughout the afternoon. It will be fun to see if he can carry that momentum into bracket play on Sunday in Springfield.

Tye DeGeorgia - 2028 Quarterback - Midwest Miners (South Dakota)

The Midwest Miners made the long drive down from the Dakotas and went 3-0 on Saturday in the 18U division. 2028 quarterback Tye DeGeorgia got our attention with his accuracy, consistency and his ability to move the ball around and make quick decisions with the football while also taking care of it. While we were watching this 2028 signal caller, he very rarely put the ball in harm's way. The ball was either going to the intended receiver or it would fall harmlessly to the turf. There's a lot to like about DeGeorgia's game moving forward. He got on the PRZ radar last fall and Saturday's performance was lights out.

Xavien Lopez-Long - 2028 Wide Receiver - Warren Academy (Nebraska)

Warren Academy 2028 wide receiver Xavien Lopez-Long was right there with Beach for most productive wide receivers that we watched throughout the day. The sophomore receiver scored at least one touchdown in all three games of pool play. He got off to a red hot start in the first game with several touchdowns and he just continued that throughout the afternoon. In fact, the hot starts became a theme for Lopez-Long as he consistently did most of his damage in the first few possessions. He emerged as one of the top targets for Warren in their dominant 3-0 showing on Saturday.
