[player_tooltip player_id='2081639' first='Jaxton' last='Lawniczak'] is a starting linebacker for Liberty Center who picked up his second Division I offer from Colgate this week. Lawniczak is a bit of a do-it-all linebacker; he has the flexibility to drop back in coverage and make interceptions, he takes great angles to wreck havoc on the backfield as a blitzer, and is a stout run defender at the point of attack. He is a great open-field tackler who can rag doll ballcarriers to the ground. He recorded 80 total tackles, seven sacks, and two interceptions last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1922471' first='Kavon' last='Blackmon'] is a starting right tackle for Springfield High School. Blackmon has good use-of-hands, with good strike timing and placement. As a run blocker, he can encircle defenders at the corner, seal off the edge and create off-tackle space for RBs. He can effectively mirror rushers in pass pro and flashes a good lateral set. He picked up his most-recent offer from Miami-Ohio last weekend but expect his offer list to grow this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2112889' first='Christopher' last='Wells Jr']. is still young and his recruiting still has a long way to go, but the class of 2029 wide receiver is off to a hot start with offers from Ohio University, Bowling Green State, and now Miami-Ohio. Expect the 5-foot-10, 170-pound wide receiver and defensive back to have a breakout year in 2026, utilizing his coverage skills, speed and hands to play a prominent role this year. He also plays basketball in addition to his duties on the gridiron.

David Tarawallie is a starting right tackle for Painesville High School. The 6-foot-6, 251-pound offensive lineman has prototypical size and strength. Tarawallie is very good as a run blocker, flashing physicality and driving defenders off the ball in the run game. Tarawallie has great size and arm length, latching onto defenders and taking them for a ride. He picked up his first offer from Cincinnati this week; expect many more to come his way.

Eastern Michigan offered Mateo Harmon this week, his first offer, and it's easy to see why. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound inside linebacker for Anthony Wayne is very fast and explosive, shooting through gaps effectively and knows how to pressure the QB. Harmon takes great pursuit angles both as a pass rusher and against the run, and is a proven and strong open-field tackler. His recruiting could blow up with a strong summer camp showing.
