Hawley has been on the Prep Redzone Iowa radar for awhile. That said, we hadn't evaluated him in about 10 months. It was time for an update following a junior season at Clarinda that saw him stand out in all three phases. Hawley led the team in receptions (38) and receiving yards (435) and tied for second with three touchdown catches. He was credited with a team-high 10 passes defended, picked off a pass and 19 of his 20.5 tackles were solo stops. He averaged 30.4 yards on nine kick returns, taking one of them back to the house, and averaged 12.0 on five punt returns. When we pop on Hawley's 11th-grade highlight video, we see how he gets the job done. The first clip has him taking a short pass, getting to the edge and outrunning the defense to the end zone. We witness more of him making opponents miss in space, but also the selling of clean routes to beat them deep. Hawley is dynamic in the return game, making quick decisions, cutting sharply and displaying a burst. His skill set and athleticism also work well in the secondary, where his movements are fluid.

Schmitt is another guy whose profile is due an updated evaluation. Prep Redzone Iowa last wrote one a year ago, before a junior season that saw him make significant strides in his development. Schmitt was credited with a team-best 43 pancakes blocks, handing them out like he was working a high school fundraiser breakfast. He has the looks of a guy that could play early in college when we watch his 11th-grade highlight video. Schmitt wins plenty of matchups by being bigger and stronger than the guy across from him. That said, he's not a plodder, offering agility and athleticism on the offensive line. The Rams have a guy at left tackle that sets up well in pass protection, utilizing long arms and active hands, playing balanced and through the whistle. Schmitt's frame can comfortably add more good weight and strength, providing him with a sizable ceiling.

Coleman was a menace for a defense that had Clear Lake ranked No. 1 for most of the season before it fell to eventual state champion Nevada in the postseason. The junior registered 33.0 tackles, 22 of which were solo stops. He accumulated 13.0 tackles for loss and four sacks. The defensive lineman also picked off a pass and recovered a pair of fumbles. Coleman impresses during his 11th-grade highlight video from 2025. Speed and burst stand out right away. He fires off of the snap and often is past the blocker before he can react. Coleman uses his hands well and shows excellent straight-line speed. He gets downhill in a hurry and finishes plays. His frame has room to fill out and his skill set could also work at edge or linebacker.

Our last Prep Redzone Iowa evaluation of Johnson was written eight months ago. Since then, he played a key role in helping Okoboji reach the postseason in 2025. The junior recorded 39.0 tackles, 27 of which were solo stops. He piled up 10.5 tackles for loss and delivered a sack. It's important to note that the production came in just five games. Johnson provides evidence as to how he impacts games during his 11th-grade highlight video. He has a good feel for the middle linebacker position, diagnosing plays before the snap, which gets him moving in the right direction when the is underway. Johnson gets downhill quickly and flies to the football, doing so under control and with balance, helping keep the ball in front of him. A good athlete with speed, fluid movements and long arms, Johnson sticks well in coverage. He has a projectable frame that should be able to fill out in a college strength and conditioning program while keeping the agility and lateral quickness.

A historic season for Osage ended with the Green Devils reaching The Dome and finishing 11-1 following a loss to eventual champion Van Meter in the state semifinals. Muller was one of the true standouts during the successful run. The junior collected 39.0 tackles, 29 of which were solo stops. He recorded 11.0 tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble. Muller rushed for 496 yards (8.7 YPC) and seven touchdowns, the second most on the team. He caught four balls for 94 yards and a score. Muller certainly looks the part during his 11th-grade highlight video. He does a really nice job playing under control while also being aggressive. Muller identifies plays quickly and flows smoothly to the football. Strength and active hands help him fend off blocks in pursuit. They also aid in disengaging quickly if he does get tied up. Muller's frame has room to grow and fill out while maintaining agility and athleticism.
