Central Ohio Studs Added to 2028 Rankings

We added hundreds of prospects to our rankings in Ohio last month for the Class of 2028. In our next article and multi-part series, we break down four new additions and will continue to do so throughout the months of February and March. These four early risers have a chance to become high-impact players in the fall and beyond.      [player_tooltip player_id='1636545' first='Abem' last='Teshome'] is a strong run blocker for Harvest Prep who can drive his feet on contact and create vertical push around the goal line. Teshome can neutralize pass rushers effectively, plays with good knee bend and a wide base, and stays square to opposing rushers without getting his shoulders turned. Teshome likely moves to guard at the next level and would be an invaluable fit on a small school team to get his feet wet in college football.     [player_tooltip player_id='2123301' first='Hayden' last='Cornell'] is a starting safety and inside receiver for Miami Trace. Cornell has good ball skills, anticipating where the ball will be and timing effectively to break up passes. Cornell can snatch the ball out of the air and be a legitimate threat to go the distance after INTs and at minimum be able to get positive yardage and flip the field. Cornell is tough against the run, wrapping up ballcarriers on contact. He is a high academic prospect with a 3.8 GPA.     [player_tooltip player_id='2123317' first='Kason' last='Hazlett'] is a solid starting quarterback for Zanesville High School. Hazlett has a quick trigger and a good, accurate arm, fitting the ball into tight windows over the middle of the field and hitting receivers in stride. Trained by Brad Maendler, Hazlett, who is also a top student with a 4.0 GPA, is a tough QB with potential to shine at college camps.     [player_tooltip player_id='1693984' first='Niko' last='Bogetich'] is a solid quarterback for Westerville Central. More of a pocket guy, he can roll out, throw on the move and hit receivers in stride while eluding rushers. Bogetich has a quick release and a solid arm, throwing with zip between the hashes. He is a high-academic prospect with a 3.94 GPA and finished 4-6 last season.
