Patrick Williams Jr. (C/O 2027) from Marlboro County (SC) was voted the Defensive MVP of the camp after a dominant performance throughout the day. Williams won all of his one-on-one battles and approached every drill with the mindset of someone determined to prove he belongs among the best. He was initial and aggressive with all of his pass-rush moves, consistently striking first, using strong hands, and keeping offensive linemen on their heels. His motor, physicality, and competitive edge made him one of the most difficult defenders to block at the showcase and clearly set him apart from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='2144188' first='Jaylen' last='Gill'] (C/O 2027) EDGE out of JF Webb is a dynamic defensive prospect who made his presence felt throughout the showcase. While he may not be the biggest edge rusher in the group, he more than makes up for it with his athleticism and versatility. Gill has the ability to stand up and play linebacker, but his natural pass-rushing ability is what truly stands out. He is strong, fast, and extremely quick off the edge, consistently applying pressure with a relentless motor. His combination of speed and aggression made him a tough matchup for offensive linemen during the one-on-one sessions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147047' first='Zakery' last='Turner'] (C/O 2029) from South View was the top freshman interior defensive lineman at the camp and showed why he is a name to watch early in his career. Turner brings a relentless motor to every rep and competed hard throughout the entire showcase. He displayed impressive hand usage and a variety of moves for a young lineman, consistently working to shed blocks and attack the pocket. Turner clearly loves to compete and plays with a high level of intensity, running hot and bringing energy every time he lined up. His effort and developing skill set made him stand out among the underclassmen in attendance.

Kaiden Walton (C/O 2027) EDGE from Marlboro County is a very intriguing defensive prospect who showed the ability to impact the game both inside and off the edge. Walton has the physical tools coaches look for with a strong combination of size, speed, and strength, allowing him to line up in multiple spots along the defensive front. Throughout the camp he performed well in every drill, showing solid technique and the ability to compete against quality offensive linemen. Just as important, Walton was very coachable—taking instruction well and quickly applying it during reps—which only adds to the upside of an already promising prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2110732' first='Kameron' last='Campbell'] (C/O 2029) EDGE from Hoke County came into the showcase ranked as the #5 edge rusher in his class, but he very well could have been the top overall performer at the entire camp. Campbell's get-off was elite, consistently beating offensive linemen off the snap, and he showed a powerful long-arm move that overwhelmed blockers throughout the day. He dominated the competition, destroying anyone lined up in front of him and clearly outperforming everyone in his group during drills. What stood out just as much was the control he played with—Campbell looked confident and in command during every rep. With his combination of length, explosiveness, and pass-rush ability, Campbell already looks like a sure-fire Power 4 prospect, and he is definitely a name to keep a close eye on moving forward.
