DORCHESTER | It was a cool, brisk Sunday morning at Woodland High School but that didn't stop some of the elite offensive standouts of the 2027 Class from displaying the abilities that's gotten them the attention up to this point.

Coaches were on hand to run them to seven different stations then break out into position groups to get in work against their defensive counterparts.

We've already looked at the MVPs and the award winners but there were several standouts on hand that had their own shining moments.

One of those players was Jamerious James (pictured) of Edisto. He was listed as a defensive back on the roster, but he took reps with the wide receivers. James, who had an 82.75-inch wingspan to go along with standing over 6-foot-3, was smooth with his route-running and displayed soft hands in making several catches.

He was just happy to showcase his skills against some of the best in the state.

“We don't get a lot of attention at Edisto so this was a chance to show we can play with the best,” James said. “It was just an okay day though.”

Here are several more of the 2027 Offensive Standouts from the morning session.

[player_tooltip player_id='1763191' first='Tony' last='Cooper'] RB, May River

Cooper is on the short side at 5-foot-7, but he's powerfully built. He has some shiftiness with him and looks like he's durable enough to run between the tackles or stretch it outside. One part of his game that we really like is he displayed great hands and route-running ability coming out of the backfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='1822707' first='Zaghe' last='Davis'] RB, Johnsonville

The morning session was under less than ideal conditions with it being on the cool side and a brisk wind blowing across the field. Davis was able to power through that piece and show incredible quickness and fast straight away speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1816348' first='Donavan' last='Stewart'] WR, R.B. Stall

Stewart was late on arrival, but he let his best show during the competition portion of the combine. He showed great hands and caught the ball away from his body while running good routes. Stewart had some shake and was able to create separation from defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='1824942' first='Galil' last='Frazier'] WR, Colleton County

Frazier stood right at 6-foot, but he played bigger than that. He was able to get the ball at its highest point, and he used his 75-plus inch wingspan to his advantage. He also was able to fight off press coverage at the line of scrimmage on a couple of occasions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1765215' first='Jayden' last='Lee'] WR, Stratford

A lot of the receivers in the morning session checked in at under 6-foot, but they shined once the individual drills began. Lee caught everything that came in his direction and was able to do it under tight coverage as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1644939' first='Keandre' last='Allen'] WR, Colleton County

Allen is going to be able to combine with Frazier to give the Cougars a couple of players that can get the ball. Allen has a wingspan of over 77 inches and is just a shade less than 6-foot. If the coaching staff uses these two to their advantage, a lot of jump balls could be a solid order of business.

[player_tooltip player_id='1036782' first='Jagger' last='Spivey'] WR, Ashley Ridge

Spivey has been a productive receiver over the years, and he showed why with several good catches in the portion of the combine where the quarterbacks were throwing to receivers in one-on-one situations with defensive backs. Spivey ran good routes and caught everything that was close. He also matched the session high for fastest miles per hour (20.9).

Kyrell Jamison WR, Hardeeville

The Hurricanes didn't exactly throw the ball all over the field last season but Jamison gives them a legitimate threat. He was another late arrival, but he was able to showcase his route-running and hands during group competitions. He displayed good hands as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664640' first='Paul' last='Livingston'] WR, Socastee

Livingston is a quarterback's dream. He's over 6-foot-2 with an 80.25-inch wingspan that just calls for a jump ball to come his direction. He not only has great length but he showed a lot of versatility with above average combine numbers across the board for the receiver position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1822841' first='Aaron' last='Stafford'] OL, Hilton Head

While a lot of attention was on the skill position guys, the most entertaining part of the individual drills were the offensive lineman going against the defensive front. Stafford was strong in the trenches and at 282.1 pounds was mobile enough to stay with some of the quicker defensive linemen. He was one of the more athletic linemen with a 28-inch vertical.

Ty'varius Brigmon OL, Lake Marion

Brigmon was one of the smallest offensive linemen at 220.4 pounds, but he has a body that could add weight easily. He's slender but uses good leverage and technique to slide with the strongest and quickest defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='1667798' first='Ty' last='Johnson'] OL, Lucy Beckham

He's easy to see why Johnson is committed to Georgia. His measurables are off the charts at just over 6-foot-2, 304.9 pounds and an 81.75-inch wingspan. He's thick in the upper body and uses his length and hands to dictate the direction he wants to take the defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='1820980' first='Michael' last='Ries'] OL, Carolina Forest

When the coaches wanted to see the top five offensive linemen go up against the top five defensive linemen, Ries was right in the mix. He had an aggressive streak and wanted to compete against the best. He more than held his own in the battle of the best.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766922' first='Caden' last='Freeman'] OL, Berkeley

Freeman was one of the thicker offensive linemen at 329.1 pounds, but he was quick in short bursts and made it difficult for defenders to get around him. He was able to take his defender in the direction away from the quarterback and didn't allow a spin move to beat him going in the other direction.

[player_tooltip player_id='1819646' first='Jake' last='Olsen'] OL, Bishop England

Olson was another lineman that had a thick upper body that helped him check in at 299.3 pounds. He had great hand placement and was able to turn his defender in the direction he wanted him to go in. Olson also showed quick feet that allowed him to keep the defender in front of him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2045815' first='Silas' last='Brawner'] QB, Pinewood Prep

There was a solid contingent of SCISA players in attendance, and they didn't let the big schools faze them. Brawner was a prime example of that. He had great measurables at just over 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds and he stood tall in the pocket to make pinpoint passes. He had a strong, accurate arm and that showed when he threw into several tight windows.

[player_tooltip player_id='1827399' first='Avery' last='Durham'] QB, Andrews

Durham checked in at slightly less than 6-foot-2 and 184 pounds, but he stood tall in the pocket. He rarely gets to throw it in the Yellow Jackets run-based offense, but he showed the ability to get the ball out quickly and threw a nice deep ball when given the opportunity.

[player_tooltip player_id='1820390' first='Brady' last='Dantzler'] QB, James Island

As far as playing experience goes, Dantzler probably had the least amount among the guys on hand during the morning session. The reason for that is he played behind [player_tooltip player_id='1592342' first='Connor' last='Dantzler'], a North-South selection that also happens to be Brady's older brother. That didn't stop the younger Dantzler from throwing with confidence and a strong arm. What he lacks in experience, he makes up for with moxie.

[player_tooltip player_id='1823006' first='Ja'Shon' last='Williams'] TE/H-Back, Hampton County

Williams was built exactly like you would want a tight end to be built. He has huge calf muscles and that allows him to get in there and mix it up on the line of scrimmage or be a safety valve in a run-oriented offense. He's 220.7 pounds so he's durable and able to be an asset in both the running and passing games.
