We move towards late March a step closer to the 2026 season. Prep Redzone Iowa has continued preparations for it by rifling through student-athletes' highlight videos and churning out evaluations.

If you don't yet have highlights on your Hudl page, interested college coaches will be looking for them on there and elsewhere. Ask for help if you need it in compiling a video with any clips you have.

Amerison earned honorable mention all-district honors in helping Valley return to the Class 5A state semifinals in 2025. The junior worked on an offensive line that pave the way for a unit that produced 2,093 yards and 25 touchdowns through the air, and rushed for 1,885 (5.2 YPC) yards and 24 scores. There is a limited amount on film on Amerison's Hudl page. What we can find reveals a big, physical presence on the offensive front. Amerison produces a powerful push off the snap with violent hands and leg drive. He states on his Hudl page that he's very open to coaching and be the best he can be. There's a lot to work with here in a program that's as good as any in the state at developing student-athletes for college football.

Dallas Center-Grimes reached the postseason in 2025 with a balanced offense powered by its line. The Mustangs threw for 1,788 yards and 18 touchdowns. They rushed for 1,183 yards and 13 scores. Hasty was a key component on the five-man front. Hasty impresses during his junior highlight video from this past fall. Lining up at left tackle, the first clip features him getting to the second level and punishing a defender. The second clip shows Hasty quickly setting up off of the snap, with a solid foundation and balance in pass protection. Like when paving the way for the run, he operates with violent hands in holding off the rusher. He's light on his feet and moves well laterally. No doubt, Hasty is a next-level prospect deserving of more attention on the recruiting trail.

Gruhn missed the first half of his junior season of 2025 with an ankle injury. He did make up for lost time upon his return. Gruhn recorded 26.5 tackles, 13 of which were solo stops. He was credited with four tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. Clinton utilized Gruhn as a ball carrier and receiver on offense, where he caught a touchdown pass. He flashed his athleticism by bringing back his lone kick return back 16 yards. Prep Redzone Iowa hadn't written an evaluation of Gruhn in nine months, so it's an excellent time for an update. He was kind enough to post an 11th-grade highlight video for us to do so. On the first clip, Gruhn shows his talents as a route runner. The tight end releases from the H-Back spot and presents himself for the quarterback. He catches a pass moving toward the end zone and finishes off the scoring reception by powering across the goal line. There's definitely next-level potential on offense. Right now, at least, he looks more advanced as a long-arm linebacker with explosiveness, athleticism and agility to handle responsibilities as a four-down player on the second level.

It's easy to get lost in the shuffle when you're playing on a Valley roster that's deep and talent annually. That's a reason Schoeberl is flying below the recruiting radar right now. In a loaded receiver/tight end room where the top two pass catchers were seniors, he hauled in seven passes and 134 yards (19.1 YPC) and a pair of touchdowns. We can witness strengths when watching his junior highlight video. On the first clip, Schoeberl lines up at H-Back on the right side of the formation, releases down the seam, catches the ball and finishes the play in the end zone after racing 56 yards. His second touchdown develops as he comes across the formation as an H-Back, settles in the flat and outruns defenders to the pylon. Schoeberl is effective in-line, too, and blocks well no matter where he lines up. His projectable frame is capable of adding good weight and strength.

In what was a difficult season on the East Side of Des Moines, Sykes found ways to deliver on both sides of the ball. He paced the Scarlets with 371 yards and two scores on the ground, adding a pair of two-point conversions. On defense, he registered 13.5 tackles, eight of which were solo stops. He posted 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack. We can see Sykes impacting the action during his junior highlight video of 2025. He does a nice job running between the tackles, patiently waiting for his blockers to do their jobs and flowing with the play. He cuts sharply and can bounce it to the outside. Sykes gets downhill in a hurry and accelerates quickly. He reads defenders well on the second and third levels. While he doesn't have defensive clips on his tape, his skill set works in the secondary and on special teams.
