2027 Central Florida Prospects: Breakout Watch

Central Florida continues to produce a deep group of 2027 prospects with legitimate upside heading into the offseason. After getting eyes on several of these athletes in person, the tools and production suggest many are positioned for strong spring evaluations. Saw him in person last season going to work on one of the better defenses in the state.    Torrey N. Scott Jr | ATH | 2027 | Edgewater | @TorreyScott   A true “Swiss Army Knife” prospect with playmaking ability across the field. Recent move over to Edgewater will be major. Scott is instinctive in coverage, shows strong ball skills, and has the versatility to impact the game in multiple ways. Competitive, coachable, and always around the football.   Carmari Solomon | ATH | 2027 | Oviedo | @Carmari_Solomon   Dynamic two-way athlete who impacts both offense and defense. His speed and route pacing stress coverage as a receiver, while his instincts and fluid movement make him a playmaker in the secondary. A high-energy competitor who continues gaining traction. Really think this kid has solid potential at the next level.    Noah Prince | OLB/DE | 2027 | Bishop Moore | @NoahPrince_24   At 6-4, 225, Prince brings ideal edge size with strong production to match. Don't be too late on this kid who has taken the offseason by storm. After posting 14.5 sacks and 29 tackles for loss last season, he's building serious recruiting momentum thanks to his pass-rush ability and versatility. Simmons followed a 1,000-yard receiving season with over 1,100 rushing yards, proving he can impact the game in multiple ways. Dangerous in space and explosive with the ball.   Chris Butler | WR | Mainland | @garnerchris0   Butler is starting to build momentum this offseason with strong showings on the circuit. He gets off the line quickly, runs sharp routes, and consistently finishes catches. Once the ball is in his hands, his burst and open-field ability make him a real big-play threat.   Robert Hampton | DB | Seminole | @RobertH4mpton   Hampton has quietly been one of the steadier defensive backs I've seen this offseason. Physical at the line, comfortable in coverage, and brings leadership to the secondary. The type of DB who sets the tone and competes every rep. Continues to tweak is body and will be a valuable weapon this season.    Tristen Raines | ATH | Winter Springs | @t2havinnn   Raines brings consistent energy and impact on both sides of the ball. Explosive athlete who competes at a high level and plays fast in space, whether lining up on offense or defense. Hill's ability to separate and finish plays helped him stand out as one of the more reliable targets during competition.   Dory Thimote | ATH | 2027 | Gateway | @DoryThimote   A physical 6-2, 195 athlete with impact production on defense. Thimote finished with 76 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks while also contributing as a red-zone receiving target. An under-the-radar prospect with intriguing upside.
