Where Physicality Meets Grit

It is also mental and physical persistence that players have to show on the field, and it does flash on tape. Below are players that have a different edge that fly under the radar. Certainly, the ability to block and line up from out wide or at the LOS was a presence. As a blocker, McCabe was especially effective in the RPO game, creating space and sealing defenders at the second level. Furthermore, he is not the most explosive receiving threat, but he was efficient at making tough catches. McCabe is incredibly useful on short-out and curl routes on the outside. Furthermore, he shows outstanding grit at the POA, especially in his pass and run blocking. He plays with a physical edge and is willing to down block and drive defenders into the second level. Another key point is Zembery has a strong frame and shows great potential as an anchor. Zembery additionally has a stable outlook with balance and footwork. At DT, Healy shows the grit and strength to absorb blocks in the run game, freeing up teammates and closing running lanes. At length he will chase down ball carriers and wrap them up with strength and power. Despite his size, Healy does get off the LOS at both positions with quickness to get a good pushback on opponents. Further, making reach blocks and assisting teammates would show. Further, his versatility to line up in multiple techniques on the LOS was seen on full display. Having active hands, especially to rip by blockers, was a strength. The rip move that Andrews possesses is very violent, powerful, and gritty. Andrews does have a high-running motor and the forcefulness to make big-time hits. In like manner, Hart took reps at both inside and outside backer, where making plays behind the LOS flashed. No doubt, Hart is not afraid to make physical contact with whoever has the ball. He benefits from his nibble and quick feet, especially when he can blitz through the A and B gaps.
