With the athletes still being so young, it's almost impossible to put a numerical ranking next to their name at this point. Here we will breakdown the top freshman in the state of Oregon with groups representing #1-20, #21-40, and a Watch List as referenced below with honorable mention selections.

On the actual rankings board, you will see a number next to each athlete's name, but that is very general in nature and will likely adjust a great deal in the coming months. This list was put together in collaboration with Andrew Nemec. Have a look as we highlight the state's top 29's.

Overall Rankings: https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/oregon-high-school-football-2029-class-player-rankings/

#1-20 https://prepredzone.com/2026/02/updated-oregon-2029-rankings-1-20/

#21-40 https://prepredzone.com/2026/02/updated-oregon-2029-rankings-21-40/

[player_tooltip player_id='2131477' first='Declan' last='McGinnis'] is another Nelson athlete who could be an impactful player for one of the fastest rising programs in the region. He has excelled as part of Team Lillard, being one of the fastest athletes in the state for his class (4.56- 40 Yard Dash).

[player_tooltip player_id='2131778' first='Hudson' last='Brooks'] of Lakeridge and [player_tooltip player_id='2131779' first='Lincoln' last='Draper'] of West Salem are both individuals who could get in the mix early at the varsity level, even while being undersized. Some of Brooks' top ranked teammates spoke to his ceiling and overall ability, with Draper being one of the elite younger players for Team Alpha.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131683' first='Kadryn' last='Nettles'] of Willamette and [player_tooltip player_id='2131689' first='Kobe' last='Nettles'] of Thurston are two kids out of the Eugene area worthy of recognition. Kadyn is playing opposite top prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2127746' first='Jonny' last='Jenkins'] who will receive a lot of attention from defenses. Both have done well as part of the MVP program.

Give QB [player_tooltip player_id='2056041' first='Jude' last='Buck'] of Cleveland a lot of credit, earning honorable mention all PIL honors as a freshman, for a team that went 0-9. He gives the program hope. [player_tooltip player_id='1841149' first='Renice' last='Davis'] of North Salem is another QB/Athlete who is a multisport standout (basketball) and could be called upon early in his career with the Vikings graduating some legit talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2129863' first='Jace' last='Feeback'] of Mazama and [player_tooltip player_id='2129862' first='Ryan' last='Williams'] of Crescent Valley are two other 29's who put up solid varsity stats. Feeback was the teams #2 receiver catching 14 balls for 235 yards and 2 TDs on the year. The 5-9 Williams started at QB for the Raiders passing for 1,246 yards and 15 TD's/10 INTs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131678' first='Dylan' last='Wilson'] of Churchill is one of the fastest players around and will be one to watch out of the Midwestern League. [player_tooltip player_id='2131781' first='Kellan' last='Harms'] is a smaller athlete who could play early for West Albany, currently making a name for himself as part of Team Alpha.
