Bolanos, whose uncle Arturo Bolanos is the head coach at Goddard, was one of the state's top linebackers during the 2025 season. He earned First-Team All-State honors after making 74 tackles, 6 forced fumbles and over 10 TFL. Bolanos visited NM Highlands in December after being offered by the Cowboys in November.
