Luke is set to take over the QB1 spot for WJ next season after backing up senior QB [player_tooltip player_id='1611568' first='Jake' last='Forburger']. Even so, Luke still saw a good chunk of significant field time in 2025 and showed well. More of a pocket passer than WJ's prior QB, Maynard stands tall in the pocket with fluid clean footwork and good pocket awareness. Showed smooth, tight mechanics at the QBFactory workouts. Close to the shoulder nice over the top release, Luke gets the ball out quick throwing a polished catchable ball. Able to hit receivers in stride with good timing while getting impressive zip & spin on his short/intermediate throws.

Expect to see Luke have a strong summer camp season and early season Sr. Tape. A high academic prospect as well, with a 3.9 GPA, he should be a look for Patriot level schools going into his senior year. Looking forward to seeing more of Luke over the next season as I can see him being one of MoCo's top QBs for 2027.

Bradley looks to take his game up to the next level in 2026. Returning as the starter along with what was a young Leonardtown team in 2025 all back with intentions of success. A QB with excellent size at 6'3" 195lbs and built like a LB. Capable of getting the job done with his arm or legs, Bradley is effective in the power run game with that size and strength. A high IQ player, Hager makes the right reads and smart throws.

In the 2025 season he put up just shy of 1200 total yards and 15 TD's. A high academic prospect as well with a 4.1 GPA should catch the yes of D3+ Academic schools. With his potential and another year of development, I can see Bradley significantly increasing those numbers and making him a name to know for 2027s QBs in the SMAC.

It seems every year at QB Factory workouts I find an under-rated TE there and Carter was the one this winter. Making 1st team all county at both TE and DE, he can play both sides of the ball & could be recruited on both sides as well. However I saw him workout at TE and was impressed with what I saw live at QBFactory from him.

Carter is a prospect with an ideal frame...good height & build with wide shoulders making for a good size TE. He can play H-back and In-line TE so offers some nice versatility in multiple schemes. Able to work up the seam, across the middle, and in the flats. What i noticed most from Carter in the workouts was he was a very smooth runner for his size. Fluid, kept his momentum going through routes, can stick and comeback to the ball and uses his frame his advantage as a pass catchers. He also showed he is very sure handed and consistently catches the ball away from his body with good form. While also being athletic enough to get arms out and high point & plucks the ball from the air.

Carter is also a high academic prospect carrying a 4.2 WGPA and should be a one Patriot/IVY schools want to get to camp this summer. A prospect one the rise and is not one to be slept on entering the 2026 season, I look forward to seeing more of Carter's game.

Jackson is a QB everyone needs to have on their radar for the 2026 season. He is ready to take over the starting job after Sr. QB [player_tooltip player_id='401992' first='Braeden' last='Palazzo'] moves on to the next level. Jackson did see significant field time in 2025 and impressed in said limited action. Even driving McDonogh down the field and throwing a high level back pylon TD pass against Spalding in the MIAA Finals.

With good size already at 6'1-6'2" and 190lbs, he is physicality able to hold up against older competition. He also shows nice length and I wouldn't be surprised is he isn't finished growing. In workouts Jackson shows off a quick release, throws with good timing. Has impressive footwork, poised and confident moving in the pocket and will step up to deliver the throw. Soling arm strength as well, Jackson can laser it across the middle with nice velocity/spin. He also throws a pretty deep ball. Getting it up and down in a smooth trajectory putting in the perfect spot for his WR to go up & make the play.

Jackson is already seeing his recruitment starting to take off receiving a Memphis offer this winter. Can't wait to see what he can do with a full season of play under this belt. If Jackson delivers on his ability in the 2026 season expect more offers his way and for him to be battling for the top young QB in the MIAA as well as the whole state for the 2029 class.

A transfer coming up from Alabama, KJ took now time to get adjusted and make an impact at QB for McNamara. On the year he put up just shy of 1,200 yards passing, 13 TDs on 67% comp - all while splitting time at the position for BM with 2027 QB [player_tooltip player_id='1353100' first='Jayden' last='Ford'].

A bit sawed off at 5'10 but he is a thick build guy and is more than capable of holding up against high level competition. Pair that with KJ being a strong overall athlete, a baseball player as well, and more than capable of making plays with his legs from the pocket. He is an instinctual QB and backfield creator. He anticipates windows, see the field well and keeps his eyes up & downfield to make a play. KJ gets good zip on his short/intermediate throws and is a plus passer on the run. A high IQ player on and off the field as he carriers a 3.9 GPA.

KJ is a QB with all the intangibles - tough, playmaker, competitor and showcases leadership skills. KJ will do what ever is needed of him for McNamara to be successful and he will open up some eyes this summer camp season.
