Bellevue West's [player_tooltip player_id='1085105' first='Dylan' last='Miller'] will be a potential breakout player to watch his season after emerging as a key part of the Thunderbirds RB room. Despite only carrying the ball 63 times, Dylan still managed to record 351 yards and four touchdowns with an additional 75 receiving yards and receiving touchdown. Miller is a well-rounded back who can be physical as a downhill runner or outrun the defense if he's able to find the corner. He has a strong, sturdy frame with a strong base that allows him to stay upright through contact and does a good job of falling forward when he is brought down. Dylan isn't a super flashy back but he does have the agility to make subtle cuts in tight quarters. Good hands for a RB, making him a reliable target out of the backfield. We could also see Dylan earn more reps on the defensive side of the ball.

Hastings' [player_tooltip player_id='1297112' first='Jezoar' last='Trochez'] is one under-the-radar prospect who should definitely be on more recruiting boards after a great junior season. Jezoar is a true mauler in the trenches, with experience on both the offensive and defensive lines, but projects best as a guard on the OL. Jezoar brings a nasty mean streak to the field by being very aggressive at the point of attack and playing through the whistle, resulting in plenty of pancake blocks. He displays a consistent hip bend, allowing him to maintain proper leverage against his opponent during blocks. He can generate a lot of power in his base, which helps him dominate and drive defenders off the ball. Solid strength in his punch and accuracy with his hand placement. Good footwork and lateral quickness make him an effective pulling guard. Definitely someone to check out this offseason.

Papio South's [player_tooltip player_id='1192421' first='Pierson' last='Ivener'] looks ready to take on a bigger role on the offense next season as the Titans graduate a good chunk of last season's production. Ivener had a great showing as a junior, finishing with 24 catches for 359 yards and three touchdowns as the starting tight end. Pierson's size, catch radius, and strong hands make him a reliable target over the middle of the field. He's able to outbody smaller DBs and is a better athlete than most LBs tasked with covering him. Iverson is also good through the catch process, showing the strength and concentration to secure the ball in traffic or when dealing with contact. If you don't bring him down immediately, Pierson has shown he can tack on some yardage after the catch. Big mover potential this offseason!

Kearney's [player_tooltip player_id='2110921' first='Canon' last='Cope'] is another pass-catcher to add to your boards this offseason. It seemed like Canon was poised for a breakout year before an injury cut his season down to six games, still finishing with 13 catches for 210 yards and a touchdown (team-high). Cannon is a versatile receiver who can be moved across the formation with reps on the outside, inside, and forces defenses to adjust when he's sent in motion. Cope has underrated speed, with a reported 4.61 40-yard dash, allowing him to stretch defenses vertically on go routes. He also does a good job working the underneath routes and has a good feel for getting open near the sticks to keep drives moving. Valuable special teams player who can use his vision to find creases and break open a big return. Looking forward to seeing a fully healthy [player_tooltip player_id='2110921' first='Canon' last='Cope'] back on the field making plays for the Bearcats.

Lincoln Northeast's [player_tooltip player_id='1223501' first='Zayne' last='Scully'] is an interesting prospect we project to be a QB at the next level, but he also showed flashes as a DB/ATH. Zayne had a small sample size at QB last season, but he made the most of it with 7/12 completions for 176 yards and five passing touchdowns. On defense and special teams, he recorded 10 tackles, a TFL, and two interceptions (one pick-six), and three punt return touchdowns. As a QB, he does a great job of seeing the field, working through his progressions, and maneuvering under pressure in the pocket. His arm strength is a bit overlooked, as he has shown multiple times that he can lob bombs downfield with solid placement. He didn't run much, but with a reported 4.59 40-yard time, he is a threat to take off at any moment. Zayne's shiftiness and quick twitch make him difficult to catch, with the vision to find small creases in the defense, and the burst to explode for a big gain when he finds the open field. Great awareness and fluidity in coverage, with the instincts to break on the ball when he sees an opportunity for a big play.
