Hastings’ Jezoar Trochez Jezoar Trochez 5'11" | 260 lbs | OL/DL Hastings | 2027 State NE is one under-the-radar prospect who should definitely be on more recruiting boards after a great junior season. Jezoar is a true mauler in the trenches, with experience on both the offensive and defensive lines, but projects best as a guard on the OL. Jezoar brings a nasty mean streak to the field by being very aggressive at the point of attack and playing through the whistle, resulting in plenty of pancake blocks. He displays a consistent hip bend, allowing him to maintain proper leverage against his opponent during blocks. He can generate a lot of power in his base, which helps him dominate and drive defenders off the ball. Solid strength in his punch and accuracy with his hand placement. Good footwork and lateral quickness make him an effective pulling guard. Definitely someone to check out this offseason.

Hastings Jezoar Trochez Jezoar Trochez 5'11" | 260 lbs | OL/DL Hastings | 2027 State NE was already on our radar after a solid sophomore campaign in the trenches, but further blew up his stock with an OL MVP-worthy performance at the Combine Series showcase. Jezoar may not be the biggest linemen out there, but he makes up for it with his excellent use of leverage and overpowering strength. Jezoar’s lower center of gravity allows him to keep a strong, balanced base that helps him anchor down when engaged in blocks while possessing the leg drive to move defenders off their spot at will. He does a great job with his hand placement, aiming his punch at his opponent’s chest, and then working his hands inside to gain additional leverage. Smooth lateral mobility and good footwork throughout his reps. Very good fundamentals that will only get better in the next couple of seasons.
