While we're focused on the 2029 class in the here and now, there's a long way to go before we close the book on a class that is just beginning to enter the spotlight. Every rankings update, we highlight stock-risers, players who move up in the rankings. But we don't blindly decide who we'd like to move the week before we publish. For many of the athletes on our board, we have an idea of what they'd need to do to move up or down the rankings.

Here, we're looking at five offensive athletes in the 2029 class who could move up in a future rankings update.

One final note: Our system displays one evaluation at a time on a player's profile. Since some of these players were (or will be) evaluated in other pieces this week, I'm using an old-school paragraph form to highlight these five future rankings risers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2113400' first='Manny' last='Miller'], OL, Rolesville

First, the size jumps off the page, as Miller is already a true 6'6". He'll work to add weight this offseason, but it just means it's a matter of time before he's earning regular playing time after playing a handful of snaps as a freshman. He has excellent strength for his frame, and he moves well for a taller guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='865857' first='Christian' last='Druzbik'], QB, Hough

Druzbik's is a name to file away for later, as he's likely limited to camp standout status for another season behind an elite 2027 passer. He's okay with that, and there's a clear sense that he's the next up at Hough. He has a strong arm, good size, and has already impressed in occassional backup duty in blowouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1905582' first='Khalin' last='Rogers'], RB, Clayton

Rogers was impressive in limited reps this season, averaging 11 yards a carry for the 7A East Regional Champions. This is an easy selection based on opportunity. He's already shown he's a high-quality varsity running back, and returns to an offense that loses its quarterback, leading rusher, and three leading receivers. He also has a frame to hold more weight. and we wouldn't be surprised to see him look different physically in the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2099368' first='Landen' last='Perry'], QB, Wake Forest

Perry was not the same player in November that he was in August. Some of that has to do with the improved opportunities given to him as a starter, but it's undeniable that he grew as a player and a leader throughout the season. By year's end, he was more confident, decisive, and productive. It looks like things are clicking, and that upward trajectory rarely stagnates. More often, it leads to a player getting better and better as he ages.

[player_tooltip player_id='2003822' first='TK' last='Davis'], RB, Asheville

Asheville had one of the youngest offenses in the state this year, and the Cougars will return all but 12 catches and one carry in 2026. That familiarity and young experience should help every player on that unit, and leading rusher [player_tooltip player_id='2003822' first='TK' last='Davis'] is no exception. He had a nice freshman year, and with only 102 total touches last season, he should be fresh. Not only that, but he was effective while he was one of the smallest guys on the field. Another year to grow will only help.
