February Check-in: Talented Prospects Across the State

He flies downhill, is great at getting behind the line of scrimmage, and frequently meets the ballcarrier in the hole for stops for loss/little gain. I'm really impressed with how easily he can shed off blockers- he's quick, aggressive, and does a great job using his leverage and strength to explode and break past offensive linemen.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Lowe is just as disruptive against the pass. He's a talented blitzer who can heat up and affect the quarterback in some huge ways. Everyone needs to watch out for this kid in 2026; he's got a ton of talent to showcase."</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yesterday, Lowe picked up an offer from Graceland University! He explodes off the snap, plays with great leverage and power, and can gain terrific penetration on the line of scrimmage. I'm really impressed with his tackling as well. He's great at wrapping up and not allowing any additional yardage after he makes contact.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>We're going to have to watch Cunningham and Baker's defense this upcoming year. He has some impressive arm talent- he can push the ball downfield, make throws on the move, and zip it through tight windows to his WRs.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I'm really impressed with how quickly Spencer gets the ball out- as soon as he drops back, he finds the open man, pulls the trigger, and keeps the chains steadily moving. Spencer did a great job keeping the ball safe last season and already shows a great understanding of his offense. Whether it be against the run, pass, or on special teams, Vann is always near the ball creating stops. I'm really impressed with Vann's skills as a run defender- he consistently flies downhill, fills in rushing lanes, and fights off blockers to rack up tackles down by the line of scrimmage.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Vann brings the same level of play against the pass. He has a unique blend of speed, twitch, and physicality that he uses to make defenders pay in the open field- it's hard to believe he's only a sophomore. Adair is incredibly elusive with the ball- he has great speed and can effortlessly cut and change his direction, constantly leaving defenders in the dust.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>On top of his elusiveness, Adair is incredibly tough for defenders to take down. He has great contact balance, is a hard runner, and plays with a ton of effort.
