The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit made our first ever stop in The Sunshine State this weekend as The Central Florida Charge tourney took place at The Villages Charter School. We had over 50 teams from 18U down to 10U and the action was outstanding from start to finish. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Florida for a ton of content coming out of the tournament and be sure to follow our social channels as well for even more video content! In this breakdown, we're putting the spotlight on the 12U division with some of the top standouts from this division.

[player_tooltip player_id='2127545' first='Davin' last='Landri'] - 2032 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Horizon Elite

Horizon Elite wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2127545' first='Davin' last='Landri'] was solid on both sides of the ball throughout the tournament. Every time we watched Horizon Elite, Landri was routinely one of the best players on the field. Landri first got our attention during pool play when he caught the game-winning touchdown in overtime. He then turned around later in the day and made some big plays on the defensive side of the ball. He continued that on Sunday by making big plays on both sides of the ball. Landri was one of the more consistent players in the 12U division.

Demarcus Bronson Jr - 2032 Wide Receiver - 24K Black

24K Black had a couple players that stood out to us on the offensive side of the ball and 2032 wide receiver Demarcus Bronson Jr was one of them. Bronson immediately caught our eye because it looked like he was towering over his teammates and that's impressive considering he's just in 6th grade. Bronson, like several other wide receivers with his size were red zone nightmares to defend for opponents. He's long, has a good leaping ability and was incredibly reliable when 24K Black would go to him with the football. He was a consistent target from start to finish.

Grayson Walker - 2032 Quarterback - 386 Elite

It was only one day of football on Saturday but the improvement that 386 Elite QB Grayson Walker showed throughout the afternoon was impressive to watch. Walker and the squad came up short in their first game on Saturday but they bounced back in a major way after that. And in our opinion, it started with Walker at the quarterback position. He immediately turned things around and looked like one of the better quarterbacks in the 12U division during the final two games on Saturday. Just a 2032 signal caller, we liked how he bounced back in a major way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2114820' first='Jayven' last='Walker'] - 2031 Wide Receiver - 386 Elite

2031 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='2114820' first='Jayven' last='Walker'] is the perfect example of the difference makers at the 12U division. Walker was towering over defenders throughout the weekend and he used that length to be a match-up nightmare in the red zone. Walker won jump ball after jump ball and it's going to be interesting to see how he continues to develop moving forward. He showed that he can be a big-play player for 386 Elite and as he continues to develop his overall game, Walker will be a very fun player to watch. We lost track of how many jump balls Walker was able to pull down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201650' first='Joivan' last='Jimenez'] - 2032 Quarterback - 24K White

24K White 2032 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1201650' first='Joivan' last='Jimenez'] came into this weekend's Florida tournament with plenty of hype. He's a middle schooler already on the radar but we wanted to see for ourselves. He didn't disappoint this weekend. The thing that stood out about Jimenez, specifically on Saturday was his ability to stay poised and make some clutch throws down the stretch of games. That was one thing that separated Jimenez from some of the other quarterbacks. When the heat went up and the pressure was on, it seemed like he elevated his game even more to help his team win.

Kaiden Clements - 2032 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Team Showtime

Team Showtime was the top 12U team throughout the day on Saturday and they made a run to the championship game on Sunday but finished as Runner Ups. One of their top players from start to finish was 2032 wide receiver and defensive back Kaiden Clements. Clements first stood out to us on offense as he emerged as one of the top targets in this passing attack. But then he started making plays on both sides of the ball. He already looks like a good athlete. And the fact that he has two more years of middle school ball to continue to develop makes him a name to know.

Luke Starner - 2031 Quarterback - Team Showtime

Leading Team Showtime to the 1 seed was 2031 quarterback Luke Starner and in our opinion, he was the most accurate quarterback in the division this weekend. Starner was putting the ball where only his receivers could make the play and he was calm, cool and collected throughout the afternoon on Saturday. He helped lead his team to the 12U championship game and in the overtime classic, Starner and his squad came up just short. But there is a lot to like about his game moving forward. He was methodical with how well he threw the ball.

Nahzi Hines - 2031 Wide Receiver - 386 Elite

2031 wide receiver Nahzi Hines is the final 386 Elite standout that shined bright during the weekend. Hines immediately stood out to us during one of their pool play games on Saturday. In fact, it was a game they came up short but he still made plays that got our attention. Hines caught a pass near the sideline and put the brakes on in an instant and got around a defender and into the end zone. It was clear from that point forward that Hines was incredibly shifty and he would use that quickness and overall speed to be one of the top wide receivers in the 12U division.

Nyko Gilyard - 2032 Wide Receiver - 24K Black

Speed, speed and more speed was the name of the game here. 24K Black 2032 wide receiver Nyko Gilyard was one of the fastest kids that we watched in the 12U division this weekend. You can't tag what you can't catch and Gilyard was incredibly hard to catch in the open field. Looking back at some of our notes from this weekend, speed continued to come up with Gilyard in everything he did. It looked like he was moving in fast forward compared to the rest of the field. He was incredibly shifty and used that speed to his advantage all weekend.
