Although I was only able to record that one day, it didn't take long to identify a couple of players who clearly separated themselves. First and foremost, appreciation to the entire South Bay Pistons program for coming through and competing across all age groups. Daniels put together one of the more complete two-way performances of the weekend, making a strong case as a post-event top ten player in the 14U division. At wide receiver, he consistently created separation with sharp route breaks and controlled pacing, showing the ability to throttle down in soft spots and accelerate out of cuts. When targeted, he attacked the football confidently and finished plays. On the defensive side, he was just as impactful, displaying strong instincts in coverage, clean transitions when flipping his hips, and the ball skills to turn pass breakups into potential takeaways. His versatility and consistency on both sides of the ball elevated him into that upper-tier conversation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ashton Hall was equally impressive in his own right, particularly in contested situations. He thrived on 50/50 balls, showing the courage and body control to go up in traffic and come down with the football. Whether it was high-pointing over defenders or securing catches through contact, Hall made difficult grabs look routine. His ability to track the ball in the air and maintain focus in crowded windows gave this offense a reliable play maker when the margin for error was slim. Even in a limited Saturday recording window, both Hall and Daniels left a strong impression and gave South Bay Pistons' 14U team a dynamic edge on the perimeter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
