The Green Wave are coming off a 2025 season that saw them finish with a 4–6 overall record and a 3–1 mark in league play, highlighted by a huge win over eventual state-champion DePaul Catholic in October. Operating under Brian Bowers, one of the most experienced high school coaches in New Jersey history with 23 seasons under his belt with the Green Wave, the Morris County private school is starting to form the base of its future with the 2030 class. Here's an early look at the known Delbarton commits.

Note: This isn't the NCAA or the NFL and things change. There will be additional prospects added to the Delbarton 2030 class as they're announced -- this is simply from my own research. There is no master list available, anywhere, at this time.

If this were the NFL franchise's draft board or a CFB recruiting board, I'd have to start off with "prospect has a lot to prove with the time he's missed -- blah blah blah" but fortunately, this isn't the place. YES - [player_tooltip player_id='1476959' first='Mason' last='Rohan'] essentially missed all of this past season with an injury, but toss that out the window. The South Bound Brook-native is as smooth as they come as a Defensive Back. Long, and plays with educated feet. Have thought of him as a Safety over the last two years, but recent film has me not ruling out Rohan playing CB. In my opinion, he's one of the best DBs in New Jersey for the class of 2030.

It's still relatively early in the admissions process when looking ahead to next year, but when looking at the crop of prospect Delbarton is bringing in on paper, I see Coccaro as the cornerstone of this 2030 class. The Cranford native checks all the boxes on, and off, the field when it comes to being a student-athlete. Violent between the whistles and a great person off the field. In the NJSYFL All-Star Game this past year, Coccaro earned Defensive MVP honors for this play. Also a talented lacrosse player, the 21-time Morris County Champion Green Wave are getting a stellar all-around athlete.

If you were to design an incoming-freshman Quarterback in the lab, chances are the prospect that came out would look like a bit like [player_tooltip player_id='2066815' first='Tyler' last='Masella']. Physically, he's off the charts in terms of body type. He measured in at 6-foot-1 and 192-pounds at our New Jersey Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp in late January, running a 5.2 in the forty. In an effort to hopefully quiet the opinions of, 'it's only because he reclassed a year' -- the kid was a NBJFL All-Star selection following his original eighth-grade season, back in 2024. No incoming freshman is a perfectly-polished diamond, and Masella has room to improve, but he has a tremendous upside.

The Roxbury Jr. Gaels have been building a powerhouse program on the youth level over the last couple seasons. For proof, look no further than the trio of MCYFL Championships they won this past season, as the sixth, seventh and eighth-grade levels all brought home trophies. Stud RB/LB [player_tooltip player_id='2130215' first='Mason' last='Bertos'] has been a major piece of that puzzle, bringing home Offensive Player of the Year awards for the Jr. Gaels in each of the last two seasons. The powerful future Green Wave football prospect cemented his dominating youth career with a four-touchdown championship game against Mt. Olive this past November.

As mentioned previously in this write up about 2030 Quarterbacks on the rise, [player_tooltip player_id='2130205' first='Anthony' last='Kachouh'] is a QB to pay attention to. The righty gives Delbarton a pair of incoming signal callers that the rest of North Jersey public schools would kill for. Kachouh, like [player_tooltip player_id='2066815' first='Tyler' last='Masella'], is nowhere near finished products -- but the potential is glaring. Serving as QB1 for West Essex this past season, he helped lead the way for the Cowboys, as they captured the WEJFL League Championship this past season.

Akin to his future Green Wave teammate QB [player_tooltip player_id='2066815' first='Tyler' last='Masella'], two-way lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2133206' first='Luke' last='Allen'] did not play this past season, instead deciding to take a reclass year at The Prep Year. He was listed at 6-foot-1 and 250-pounds ahead of last season via Hudl, though that's not verified. In the (very) little film I've seen of Allen, he looks like a wide-bodied, strong, interior guy. From simply the eye-test, Allen appears to have started to change his body into a much more high school-ready form. He looks noticeably more solid in his upper body. The jury is out on what his future holds, mainly due to lack of available (searchable) film.
