The Inaugural Battle in Bama 7v7 tournament concluded on Sunday afternoon, and the talented Zilla Zoo 15U squad captured the division championship. They were loaded on all levels, as they dominated their competition, winning nearly every game by double digits.

I carefully watched this team throughout the day and took notes on some of their best players. So, in this article, I'm going to be scouting five of their stars. Three are on the offensive side of the ball, but the other two were lockdown defensive players.

2029 QB [player_tooltip player_id='1606346' first='Trey' last='Hasan'] – Milton High School (GA)

[player_tooltip player_id='1606346' first='Trey' last='Hasan'] was one of the most impressive players at The Battle in Bama 7v7 event. He's just a freshman, but the Georgia native plays incredibly composed for his age, and you can tell that he's comfortable.

Hasan consistently produced at a high level and made plays in the most significant moments, including the 15U Championship, where he threw multiple touchdowns.

The 2029 prospect is well-built, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 175 pounds with a strong frame. His arm talent was impressive to see, as he made nearly every throw on the field and showed the ability to layer them into tight windows.

Hasan has solid vision for a young quarterback and the football IQ to make good decisions. He's just a young buck, but the signal caller has the potential to be an excellent prospect in the class of 2029.

2028 ATH [player_tooltip player_id='2115078' first='Deion' last='Williams'] – Langston Hughes High School (GA)

[player_tooltip player_id='2115078' first='Deion' last='Williams'] had a great day on both sides of the ball for Zilla Zoo. He's an exciting prospect who showed some good stuff as a receiver, but was lockdown as a defensive back.

The 2028 athlete stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 155 pounds, with a ton of natural athleticism and skills that make him a playmaker. He saw a lot of time this past season for a 12-1 Langston Hughes, then turned around and began dominating the competition in 7v7.

Williams must add weight to maximize his potential, but the rising junior has proven that he can perform incredibly well despite his lack of size. He has a bright future in football, and I loved what I saw from him this weekend.

2028 WR Johntez Long – Winder-Barrow High School (GA)

Johntez Long was very impressive to watch this past weekend. The wide receiver dominated the competition with ease, consistently making tough grabs and picking up extra yards after the catch.

He's a highly athletic player who moves very well and has sound technique that allows him to force himself open or shake defenders after he catches a pass. Potentially the most impressive piece of Long's game is his ability to high-point the football. He made several leaping grabs that most kids his age could not have achieved.

2029 WR Malik Rolle – Dacula High School (GA)

Zilla Zoo's 15U squad was loaded on the offensive side of the ball, and freshman Malik Rolle was one of the standout players. The 2029 wide receiver made a plethora of highlight plays during the two-day event, especially on the final day, when pressure was high on all the teams.

Despite the single-elimination bracket, Rolle rose to the occasion and helped his team win the Championship. The 6-foot-1, 167-pound Rolle offers excellent size for his age and a long frame that allows him to make contested catches.

He's able to make tough grabs over defenders, but don't sleep on his athleticism and speed. Rolle has the skills to route up defensive backs and pick up extra yardage after the catch. The 2029 prospect is one of the first kids on his team that caught my eye, and I'm excited to see how he progresses throughout his football journey.

2028 DB Khamel Redding-Hall – South Gwinnett High School (GA)

This team's offense was spectacular, but the defense clamped up on everybody, allowing just 61 points in four games on Championship Sunday. Khamel Redding-Hall is someone who helped put together a dominant team performance due to his excellent abilities at defensive back.

He's a compact player, standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 160 pounds. However, the 2028 prospect is a highly athletic DB who can play with anyone. I watched him lock up receivers with a significant height advantage while playing great coverage on shifty players.

Redding-Hall had a clutch interception in the title game that sealed the deal for Zilla Zoo, showing that he can also perform when the lights are bright. Once he grows more, he's going to be a nightmare for opposing teams to gameplan for.
