Ahead of the Curve: DFW Rising Sophomore Offensive Lineman

<p>The Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex continues to produce high-level talent in the trenches, and the next wave is already emerging. A strong group of rising sophomore offensive linemen made early noise with standout underclass seasons, putting themselves firmly on the radar as long-term college prospects.</p>   <p>While some are already collecting Power Four offers, others possess the physical tools, movement skills, and developmental upside that college programs covet early in the evaluation process. These linemen are ahead of schedule, showing advanced technique, balance, and football IQ for their age.</p>   <p>Here are several DFW sophomores who are already making names for themselves up front.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Womack brings an impressive combination of size, strength, and athleticism. He plays with excellent balance and shows a stiff, powerful punch at the point of attack. His bend and foot quickness stand out for a lineman his size, allowing him to stay square and control defenders through the rep. He locks onto defenders early with strong engagement and consistently wins with footwork and leverage. He's highly effective climbing to the second level and maintaining balance through contact. His presence helped Waxahachie make a deep playoff run and secure a district championship. Despite his height, he shows good bend, excellent lateral movement, and violent hand usage to gain control at engagement. He consistently plays with leverage and explodes to the second level with ease. Stout in the run game and advanced technically for his age, Harris helped lead Duncanville to a 6A Division I state title appearance as a sophomore.
