Concordia's [player_tooltip player_id='2110877' first='Tanner' last='David'] is a player who is surprisingly flying under the radar despite having a productive junior season. Tanner was the Mustangs' leading receiver as he hauled in 41 receptions for 498 yards and six touchdowns. One of Tanner's biggest assets as a receiver is his hands, as he shows the ability to haul in tough catches in traffic and make "hands" catches away from his body. He does an excellent job tracking the ball in the air and makes sure to follow it with his eyes and into his hands for the "snapshot" catch. I like Tanner's versatility in the offense and should fit in well as a Z-receiver who can be moved around pre-snap to find mismatches. Solid route runner who is sharp going through his breaks. Good size and strength at 6'1" and 165 pounds.

Kearney Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1192528' first='Nathan' last='Vasquez'] took a big step forward last season as he surpassed his totals from the previous season and looked more polished, stronger, and more physical. Nathan ended his junior season with 64 tackles, 11 TFLs, and a sack on one of the stingier defenses in Class C2 and started on the offensive line. Watching Nathan's tape, I believe he projects best on defense, where he displays a great motor that keeps him running from snap to whistle. Nathan plays with good leverage when engaging blockers and has the lower-body strength to move and drive defenders off the line. The power and torque in his base also help him on offense, where he's able to upend defenders and drop them to finish his blocks. He also does a good job of being violent with his hands when looking to disengage from blockers. Once he's broken into the backfield, Nathan is able to show off some of his lateral quickness as he corrals QBs and RBs in the backfield.

Thunderbolts' junior [player_tooltip player_id='1085201' first='Anthony' last='Iburg'] is a player ready to step into a bigger role next season after giving us glimpses of his upside last fall. Iburg got most of his playing time on defense, racking up 32 tackles, three TFLs, two sacks, and a fumble recovery. Iburg is a bit of a thumper who plays a physical, downhill playstyle that you like to see from throwback linebackers. He does well at reading his keys and shooting his gap, and at 5'11" and 200 pounds, he's a sturdy linebacker who you probably don't want to meet in the hole. Anthony showed he can use his hand and strength to disengage from blocks at the line of scrimmage while tracking the ball in the backfield. Solid tackler at the point of contact. Pius X's run game struggled to get going consistently last season, so we could see Iburg receive more touches, especially in short-yardage and goal-line situations, where he punched in three touchdowns.

Lawrence-Nelson's [player_tooltip player_id='1635450' first='Thomas' last='Ord'] is the type of player you refer to as a gamer, as he can be plugged in anywhere on offense and plays like a buzzsaw on defense. Defensively, Ord tallied 63 tackles, three TFLs, two sacks, and two fumble recoveries (one returned fora TD). Ord also posted 135 rushing yards, 122 receiving yards, two rushing touchdowns, and a receiving touchdown on offense. My one-word takeaway from watching Thomas' tape is: QUICK. Thomas is very twitchy and agile, which, combined with great field vision, makes him a threat to strike from anywhere. On offense, he is very dangerous when he can find a corner, as he has underrated speed that helps him outrun angles. On top of being quick, Thomas also has great balance when he runs, showing that his strong base allows him to absorb contact and stay on his feet. Defensively, I can see Thomas in a nickel role where he has the athleticism to keep up with receivers in coverage and is physical enough to help out against the run and be used in blitzes. Great sideline-to-sideline range. Don't sleep on this 8-man prospect!
