We had over 50 teams from 18U down to 10U and the action was outstanding from start to finish. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Florida for a ton of content coming out of the tournament and be sure to follow our social channels as well for even more video content! In this breakdown, we put the spotlight on the quarterbacks in the 18U division that stood out in a major way.

Chance Houston - 2027 - Team Elite All The Smoke

Junior quarterback Chance Houston was part of Team Elite All The Smoke as they took home the 18U championship. Not to mention four out of five titles altogether with the other divisions. Houston was also the very first quarterback we watched on Saturday and he set the bar incredibly high. We watched every throw Houston made in their first game and we don't think the ball hit the turf very often. His accuracy was incredibly high throughout the tournament. There's no doubt that this squad plenty of playmakers, which made Houston's job easy. But you can have all the playmakers in the world but they have to get the ball. Houston was surgical with the way he moved this team down the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1868239' first='Jadence' last='Kennedy'] - 2027 - Buffalo Stampeders

Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1868239' first='Jadence' last='Kennedy'] is coming off a record-breaking season with The Villages so we were fired up to watch him go to work on Saturday and Sunday on his home turf. Kennedy was solid throughout the morning on Saturday. He took what the defense was giving him and he seemed to have a knack for knowing where the open receiver was going to be at all times. Kennedy set the school's single-season passing touchdown record in 2025 so the ceiling for him is getting higher and higher as he starts thinking about his senior season. Throughout the morning on Saturday, Kennedy operated the offense at a very calm, cool and collected position and that was one of the major things that stood out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895080' first='Khayse' last='Barrett'] - 2027 - STP Elite

STP Elite made a run to the 18U championship game and came up short in an overtime classic. But on Saturday, they were rolling in the afternoon and junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1895080' first='Khayse' last='Barrett'] was a guy that was making it look easy for them. Similar to the other quarterbacks on this breakdown, Barrett had the benefit of having some serious playmakers around him that made him look good. But based off pure arm talent, Barrett was right there among the best in the age division. His arm strength was really good and he could push the ball down field while still maintaining accuracy. Barrett is a really strong athlete but he showed this weekend that the arm talent is improving at a rapid pace this offseason.

Matt Caissie - 2027 - Outlawz National

Junior quarterback Matt Caissie led the Outlawz National squad this weekend. It's a unique team blended with Florida and New England talent. Caissie is from Massachusetts and was working with skill players from all over Florida. He's an absolute gunslinger and was not afraid to take chances with the football. He was fitting some passes into some very tight windows all afternoon on Saturday. Out of the four quarterbacks on this breakdown, Caissie was definitely the biggest risk taker and there were plenty of instances where it paid off in a major way. It was fun to follow his game and watch how he attacked different defenses throughout the afternoon. He also made some big throws in clutch moments.
